I went with a group from work after a long annual planning session. Everyone had a good time and the food was great, the wine was fun and tasty. You can see that the food was beautifully prepared and plated. I assure you it tasted as good as it looked and I think it looks great! Normally I would have provided 5 stars but I could not because of the restroom. The restroom is outside the confines of the restaurant and near the rear entrance to the building. I found this strange but okay, I just rolled with it. I asked the front-of-the-house staff where the restrooms were and they told me and let me know that a code was required to gain entry into the restroom. Not crazy but a little strange. Af...
My wife and I were looking for a romantic date night while visiting Old Town Pasadena and someone recommended this place. First, I always like to say that the staff was very nice. It was a very busy Saturday night but the hostess found us a nice table in the patio area right away instead of having to wait over an hour. Our server was very nice and helpful too and even the owner came out to greet us and say hello. So staffing-wise, this place was lovely. I only give it 3 stars because the food was just pretty good. At a fancy Italian restaurant where all of the entrees are $20+ I typically expect to be in love with the food (which I have felt at other upscale places) but I didn't get that fee...
Great and wonderfully made Italian fare! Their food is amazing, highly recommend their Calamari Fritté and Raviolis. The dining room and bar area are very neat and stylish looking. Would be giving them five stars if it wasn’t for the lack of care in their other common areas; restrooms were beaten up and not clean looking nor the service was to the standards of their great food, even tho it was an slow night (4 of July) they was a pile of employees just standing near the host stand, that could for example have gotten restrooms looking as good as the front. Our waiter even tho was very nice and warm, needed to level up on knowing his menus and upselling/suggesting options to enhance our visit....
My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary. We heard good things about this place and wanted to try it. The food was very good and exceeded my expectations. The only thing was that our waitress could’ve been more attentive. At times we were just waiting for small things such as more water or just to ask for something. Another waitress noticed that we were waiting and she checked on us when our waitress didn’t. Another thing was we also overheard the owner or manager telling one of the waitresses or hostess to take her mask off. She looked visibly upset/embarrassed. This Italian restaurant is standing strong in Old Town Pasadena. My family and I have been dining here for more than 20 years. The food is nicely prepared and the service is very efficient. The grilled prawns were cooked perfectly, the flavor enhanced by the parsley Pernod butter sauce. The bucatini pomodoro is light but nicely seasoned. The wild mushroom pizza was a revelation. The chocolate trio was a sweet finish!
We had a wonderful dinner last night in Mi Piace. We started with the oysters, caprese salad and Marcher it is to start pizza. Wash those with old fashions and paired our Tomahawk Steak with a nigh bottle of wine. Service was great and we enjoyed everything we ordered. You have a large menu that we look forward to. Very recommended for anyone looking for a good Italian meal with a beautiful ambience.
We are in our 37th year of marriage and my husband decided to drag me out and we ended up at Mi Place. Wonderful place the customer service is wonderful, Lilly was the best hostess. The food and desserts are delicious, we truly enjoyed every bite. The made rounds to every table, he is so down to earth I thought he was a manager until Lilly mentioned it.
Wow amazing, this is one of the best restaurants with the most delicious food in the world. Better escargot than you would find in Paris; Mouth water bone marrow, delicious steak, pasta and soup. Everything was great. The service was a little slow, not the servicer's fault, she simply had too many tables. In any case, will come back soon.
Dined here for the Dine LA 2021, it was really nice! Friendly staff and all the food were very well done. I liked the atmosphere and tasting food! One thing about this restaurant is that it uses restroom for men together, while women's restroom is in the restaurant.
