May as well call this place 'My People, ' because this is probably some of the worst mexican food I 've had in awhile. While the people were friendly, the food was utter rubbish. We were tricked by the reviews saying the food was good. Shame on all of you for not knowing better. We could not even finish our plates the food was that gross. The salsa was watery. The carne asada was actual straight tomato sauce from a can. The cheese was plastic. The taco plate was a seemingly horrendous ensemble of Walmart off-the-shelf items. If you have any respect for yourself or your taste buds, skip this place. If you however, want some soggy enchiladas, or cheesey food paste, Mi Pueblo is your place. Yum...
Do. Yourself. A. Favor! Seated immediately...ordered promptly...my order came out promptly! Clean, pleasant smelling restaurant, friendly accommodating waitress(Tisha) and the food was amazing. I ordered the small fajita salad since I knew I was headed for an ice cream close by. I usually have a beef (pun intended) because most places load you up with beans and scimp the meats, not this place, just the opposite and such reasonable price as well! Can 't say enough good, will be back when I am in Lumberton again!
