First, I have to highlight the excellent customer service at Mi Pueblo. When I requested a refund for the guacamole, they promptly agreed. However, they accidentally gave me the wrong item. Just be sure to specify that you want the side of guacamole, not their homemade version—that’s a helpful tip. The quesadilla had a bit too much cheese, and the meat was overcooked and salty, but everything was served in a tasty tortilla. The salsa was fresh and flavorful, so if you’re looking for great salsa and tortillas, this is the place to go. Otherwise, Taco Bell down the street might be a better option.
Having lived in Dallas and Houston and visited Austin frequently, Mi Pueblo remains my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant! While there may be similar places in Texas, I haven’t found any that compare. Even though the menu isn’t in Spanish, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I enjoyed the chicken taco salad and queso with chips—both were fantastic. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the chips tasted fresh. The Mexican-themed decor added to the atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. They also offer takeout with great quality and prices. I can’t wait to return on my next visit home!
service was good, but when I ordered the Spanish shrimp cocktail, I asked myself about little to no jalapenos in it. I had to get it to get it out. there was the equivalent of one to two jalapenos in there that keep small so I spent more time getting the jalapenos out when I actually got to eat. this part I was not happy about what means that the kitchen does not know how to listen to what the customer demands. Thank you, I'm not allergic to her, I just don't like so much!
normally I would recommend this place, today the service was bad , the waiter was not friendly didn't check up on the table. Got my order wrong. When I said something he acted like it was my fault. I think they decriminate against me because I don't speak Spanish. I will think twice about coming back, the food is good when its right, I will just do carry out next time.

I am never disappointed when I dine at this restaurant. The portions are generous and delicious! My go-to dishes are the mushroom quesadillas and spinach enchiladas, they are always so tasty. I have even stopped ordering from other Mexican restaurants because this place always exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend it.
The Burrito was good! The shrimp salad was bland! The shrimp were a little over cooked and with it only being shrimp, lettuce and tomato with a dusting of cheese, it need some type of sauce to kick it up a notch!
I enjoyed everything at the restaurant except for the ground beef in my taco, which had too much pepper. The cheese dip, on the other hand, was some of the best I have ever tasted.
The quesadillas, texan fajitas,chip salsa are all Amazing! Love this place! we did have some items forgotten from the order but it was quickly resolved.

The food was delicious as usual. It arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected and was still quite warm.
