If your looking for a bubble tea place with good value and good food, myst has been by far the best I 've seen so far. This location back in the days use to be, 'lesters. ' A family friendly arcade centre. I 've spent quite a few quarters and loonies here playing my favourite games.<br/ <br/ The renos are done very nicely. It 's brightly lit up with a comfortable environment. There 's alot of room here and if your familiar with how much this space has, the kitchen area is incredibly huge. The cooks in the back are lucky to have so much space.<br/ <br/ To the food! They have a seafood laksa on the menu and I ordered it with vermecilli noodles. It was absolutely delicious. Myst Asian Fusion Restaurant is located on Kingsway in between Gilley Avenue and Griffiths Ave. It is very close to K-Mix Karaoke. Parking is extremely limited. <br/ <br/ It is a great place for dinning if you finish shopping or after watching movie at Metrotown. It has great variety of choices on their menu from noodle soup, hot pot, congee, and up till dim sum. The orders came out lightning fast.<br/ <br/ We tried FRESH Taro Smoothie. It is only $0.25 more than the regular taro smootie. We also tried Matcha Ice Cream Smootie added glass jelly. Yum! I highly recommend you make resos if you're going during peak meal times. We came on a Wednesday for dinner and thank God we called in first. They said they were full but put us on the waitlist. They were packed when we got there, tons of people waiting at the door. We were sat within less than 10 mins and I have to say this place has the best Asian customer service I think I've ever experienced at a Taiwanese restaurant. The food came out surprisingly fast for how busy it was. Beautiful modern decor with giant screens and lots of booth tables! Highly recommend!!!
MYST Asian Fusion Restaurant is a full-service restaurant with a comprehensive menu. Even though they label themselves as Asian Fusion, they are actually a Taiwanese restaurant. I like Myst because even when they call themselves fusion, they don’t serve anything they are not good at. For example, you will not see ramen or sushi here. Regardless of them calling themselves “fusion”, everything you see on the menu is quite authentic. Myst is located on Kingsway near Gilley Avenue, Burnaby.
So I went to go see my friends from high school the other day (that's them in the pic. Wait...how is this news? Cause yours truly over here hasn't seen any of her high school friends since 2013, having deleted all of them off of facebook post-grad (I'm ruthless I know. Well more like, I didn't want to deal with any residual high school drama so I simply cut ties with everyone.
Since my first post, we have tried many other dishes and brought my mom here, so I thought I would do a revisit post for other dishes we have tried.<br/ <br/ The menu at Myst is pretty big, spanning many pages! If you’re a fan of Taiwanese/Chinese/Hong Kong style food, there is definitely something for your appetite.
Went breakfast. It was lots of food. But it was yummy. Kids like continental breakfast and I like Taiwanese style. Both works and had good time. They said will charge 2% credit card charge from next month or something. I know they can charge now on. Butshould do better way I think.
Really love Myst! They have an extensive menu so there is something for everyone. Prices are reasonable and portions are big. They are open really late and their takeout is fast and quality is just as good as dining in. <br/ <br/ <br/ Full review on my blog: [hidden link]
family and i love going here for late night dinner. the service is good. but the food is amazing! also very reasonable prices! must try this place, although the parking is very cramped
