Seems like a cool place. My 8 year old son gave the cheeseburger a 10/10 and enjoyed the strawberry lemonade and free softserve ice cream cone. TV 's around that showed sporting events.There are pretty much no vegetarian options besides removing meat from salads, but at the same cost as with the meat. So the chips and queso is about the only option. Really enjoyed the food and ambiance. We visited on a Sunday early evening. You order your food before being seated. We ordered burgers and a kids meal. The burgers are brisket meat. Soooo good. The buns are soft and the meat is flavorful. It’s a great portion size. The fries were ok. My husband said it was the best burger he had in a very long time. I agree with that. The food came out within a good time frame. The dining area (in and outside with a pet friendly patio) is very light and airy. There’s even a bakery for baked goods in the back. There’s also TVs throughout playing various shows. After your meal there’s complimentary ice cream cones. We wanted one but the machine was out of mix...
As first-time visitors, we weren't quite sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was excellent. I ordered the pulled pork tacos, and they were delicious. My wife chose the fish and shrimp dinner, which came with coleslaw, fries, and onion rings. She finished her meal with an Oreo ice cream shake, while I enjoyed a refreshing Crawford Bock beer. A nice touch is that they offer free ice cream to kids of all ages, making it a family-friendly place.
It is a real shame how good the chicken fried steak is here, because Mia's seems to be a Houston only chain and I don't live here. ?The sides are no slouch either. The cream corn was sweet and tasty. And the mashed potatoes were the first I can remember that are so good, they don't need gravy, or anything else, added.The jalapeño gravy is a unique twist and gives a nice little kick that led to an extra trip to the drink station.If I ever get the chance to dine here again it is a must visit. Delicious, delicious! This was our first visit to this location, and we met up with two friends. We ordered from the kids' menu, getting the grilled cheese with French fries and chicken strips with French fries. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was served hot! Plus, we received a complimentary soft drink for ordering from the kids' menu. I highly recommend this place. It’s very clean, bright, and there’s plenty of space for seating and parking!
Honey let me tell you! I know there has to be somebody's Big Mama back there in the kitchen throwing down! The food is downhome good! That meatloaf and chicken fried chicken with the jalapeño cream gravy is Top Tier! They have bottomless margaritas that are yummy too...the flavor changes but I have had the mango and watermelon ? If you and your honey are arguing over what to eat..I got yall...just go to Mia's Table and end the fued.?
You order as you enter the restaurant, then serve yourself drinks and take a seat to be served your meal. At the end, there's delicious soft-serve ice cream available. The food exceeded my expectations and didn't taste frozen; it was fresh and flavorful. The elderberry drink was fantastic—definitely a unique find. We wrapped up our meal with some homemade-style banana pudding, just like Grandma makes.
First time visit in from Galveston, Texas. Fried chicken, green beans, and macaroni and cheese were very good. I think we were skipped over serving as our food took quite a while. First time in, and I was really impressed. You order at a counter, and then you are served at your table. I thought the prices were high for a walk up, but the food is very high quality. The meatloaf was excellent. They also have one of those old style drink bubblers....with grape drink!Kid-friendliness: Free ice cream and great soda/drink selection.
