Kept driving past Michael Anthony 's restaurant on Ogden Avenue in Berwyn so we checked out their menu photos online and it seemed like a cute place. We were a party of five adults early on a Thursday nite and not a big crowd at all. We were served in the dining room, although they have a lively bar area and a beer garden out back. The interior is rather dimly lit, but it 's comfortable with some interesting (but dated) photos and decor, like something out of your Aunt 's 1970 's basement. The menu is varied, including sandwiches whole dinners and pizza... we ordered soft drinks and two large pizzas and they came very quickly and to perfection! Thin cracker style crust with yummy cheese pepp...
Absolutely LOVE this place!!!! Best deal for a great pizza in Berwyn. Not to metion all around great customer service!!! All of the employees and patrons make you feel just like part of the family. Me and my family go there so often my 1yr old daughter is very popular with all the employees and owners. They all take turns holding her and saying hi we even consider one manager Auntie Melissa. And if your looking for the best deal for party packages with private room you can NOT beat this place!!! We have had several family functions here that were nothing less of exceptional! #michaelanthonysrocks
Had a birthday party yesterday and I must say they have amazing hospitality. My family is always there. The pizza is amazing and we love the fact that children can dye on the paper that goes on the tables. This is the only place where my husband and I can converse while the children are turning away. We enjoy the antique pictures on the wall. Thanks for a great restaurant. See you next week.
Listen, when I do not eat at home or just too tired to cook, my go to is Michael Anthony's. Nancy cooks up the meanest tortellini soup and the best tuna sandwich ever! If I could give 10 stars, I would. M.A. is the best in the whole area. Party, dinner or all night fun at the bar. Best service anywhere. Also the best choice for delivery times in 20 minutes. Try the pizza without sauce and lemon pressed above :
The pizza was thin and crispy, very good. The Clam Chowder soup was also very good. On the way back from the Cubs game. We will definitely be back and would recommend to others looking for a good, crispy thin crust pizza!
Michael Anthony's is best been going there for over 30+ years... Delish food home made red potato salad rocks... The BEST atmosphere sports bar... The best kid friendly restaurant... Can't go wrong here... Cheers!!
