I ordered soul food from this restaurant and got a lemonade, two fried pork chops with macaroni and yams, and a brownie. The lemonade was delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. The brownie was tasty, although I could have done without the frosting on top. It was even better when warmed up in the microwave. The pork chops were fantastic - cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. I requested white bread to make a sandwich with my pork chops, but they only gave me two slices. I wish I had received more.
Recently, I was perusing Door Dash. It was early afternoon, but I was in the mood for breakfast. One of the choices that popped up was Breakfast by Mid Atlantic. Never having heard of it, I looked over the menu and everything looked so good. Not only that, but they had items that aren?t normally found on delivery sites, like scrapple, grits, coffee cake, grape juice, banana pudding, etc., all things that out a smile on my face. So, I made my choices and placed my order!
Ordered delivery via Uber eats. Fast pickup and the food was well wrapped to prevent spilling. Food was just okay, not the worst but wouldn?t order again. Chicken liver was decent, but the coating/deep frying masks the liver taste so if you?re looking for that, I would pass on this dish. Clam chowder was good; cornbread was average. Didn?t like the sauce on the green beans too sweet. Green beans were also dry inside. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes slightly below
I have chosen to take out from this restaurant on two occasions and have also ordered delivery. The portions are incredibly generous and you definitely get your money's worth. My only issue is that when you dine in, it seems like they prioritize phone-in orders, leaving you waiting to place your order. One thing I appreciate is that if you order fried fish, you may have to wait a bit because it is prepared fresh. This is definitely a plus in my book!

Here is a restaurant that makes simple food taste amazing. I ordered a Turkey club sandwich from them and I definitely got more bang for my buck, they were very generous with the amount of meat on the sandwich and the presentation was pristine. This is a restaurant that clearly cares about even the simplest things and that definitely makes them standout.

We placed an order with uber eats. Our food was packaged to stay warm and with almost an hour delivery time, it definitely did its job. Food arrived hot. Everything was sooo flavorful. Large portions, it was like Thanksgiving day. So yummy. Will absolutely be ordering here again in the future.
There is always a good variety of food to select from. As we all know food comes at a premium cost so we expect it to be enjoyable. They usually deliver on taste and quality. I like the varied selection that is always available. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner

I get the whiting fish sub and yellow cake with chocolate icing. Have not had this meal for awhile but today is my birthday and decided to have one of my favorites. The sub is always tasty and the cake moist and delicious. Highly recommend you try!
