First visit at Middleham fish and chips. Definitely won’t be the last. Delicious fish and best sausage ever had from any chippy. A sausage about foot long and a proper meaty sausage like from a good butchers rather than your standard chippy little meat sausage. Husband very pleased with his portion of scraps as well.
We were passing through last friday, hungry so we stopped for tea. Both had fish chips and both agreed that they are the best fish chips we have had for a long time. Well done keep doing what you do best. Will be calling again this week but this time it will be a special journey.
We went here for tea as we were stopping next door at The Richard 111 hotel and didn't fancy a proper tea. We weren't dissapointed they were delicious, two of us had fish and chips whilst our son had sausage and chips. The sausage was 1ft long! All in all very very good.

Called in for fish and chips as we were passing through Middleham. They were the best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. Friendly owner owner with good local knowledge of nice places to stay and things to do. We’ll be calling in again :
Simple menu, absolutely delicious! Fresh, crispy batter, beautifully cooked fish, superb fish shop chips, what's not to like? We agree with so many if these reviews, the best we've had for a long time. Don't hesitate....
Simply the best fish chips we have ever had. So good we had them twice in a week and the two ladies cooking and serving where fantastic. So much want to live there, but on the other hand I don't !!.

Friendly staff and beautifully cooked fish. Loads of chips too, all light and golden.We shall return here for take away on our next visit.
