Having walked past this restaurant on our last 3 visits we finally booked for our last night in Uzes this year. We loved it instantly. Beautiful courtyard setting to have dinner in. Our food was lovely so I would recommend as long as you don't...have young children. The option was chicken nuggets. Not usually too much of an issue, if you go to Oh la vache they are lovely but not here. They were the cheapest frozen nuggets available. They did not resemble chicken. We did complain and the waitress gave us an extra scoop of ice cream!! Not really satisfactory. I mentioned it to the owner when I paid as they cost about 8 euros! His response was that they don't sell that many so can't make them f...
The restaurant is nice, but the garden at the back is lovely and is where we came for a friends birthday party. The setting was lovely, and the night was superbly run. We had a number of different canapés to start, and they were delicious...especially the little sausage rolls. Food was very nice, the ravioli was a little disappointing, but the tomato salad was great and the pork chop was excellent. The staff were all lovely and looked after the drunken hordes with humour, and goodwill. Thanks for a fantastic evening.
may recommend. service was very good. menu choices via 4 specials and 5 starter, 5 net. wein, a good choice. very nice atmosphere outside at the back restaurant in a shaded opposite. we visited on Thursday and it was quite full, we had reserved....We found eating was well cooked and well presented. much better in our opinion than the crowded restaurants around the city, that was good quality, in a beautiful environment.
We recently spent a month in France and we had our best meal here. The setting is gorgeous, outside in an enclosed courtyard with star jasmine tumbling over the wall. The table was beautifully laid with fine linen and cloth serviettes. The waitress was helpful...and friendly. The set dinner menu offered a choice of two starters, main course and desserts. Every morsel was delicious! Do try this for a great experience.
