We had 7 pm reservations arrived at about 6:50 . We were told our table was not ready. We then noticed several people who came in after us being seated. We had a reservation for 2 as did these other people. After about 15 minutes we questioned a lady who appeared to be the manager and were told that when you make a reservation that they assign you a table so if that table is still occupied you have to wait . So people who come in after you get seated before you if their table becomes available. I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants all over the world and have never heard of this it only makes people angry. If you come in as a reservation you should get the first table that fits your party...
Busy Saturday evening started out well. Drinks and first course out in 30 minutes. Staff attempted to bring our main course immediately as finished our first course but it was not our meals. I believe the restaurant mistakenly thought we had been served bc it was an hour and 15 minutes before we had dinner. Aloof Waitress ignored us for about 40 minutes until we tracked her down needing more water and questioning our order. No apologies. Came back and said it would be out soon likely the order was placed again. (most of tables cleared out for the evening before we were served). Very disappointing visit as we entertained friends visiting from out of town this was 3rd time dining in 6 weeks. I...
We might give this restaurant another chance only because the food was very good. Our service was poor, from having to wait 20 minutes passed our 7:00pm reservation and then not being promptly served at the bar while we were waiting and my drink was made inconsistently by the bartenders. After being seated at a nice table our waitress was nice but not very attentive to my husbands request for black pepper, which never came and when the server brought out his beer which took 15 minutes, it came with out a glass. Every restaurant can have a bad night , but overall the service was underwhelming.
The dining experience was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful, with an intimate vibe. The dishes were beautifully presented. The menu features smaller portion sizes, designed for a three-course meal, which I really appreciate. Very poor service. Waited 20mins for initial drinks ordered, 30 mins for 1 small appetizer. We ordered appetizers and entrees all at once. After more than 1 hour of waiting for our entrees, we had to grab the wait staff, finally received food. During our wait for entrees the wait staff never came to table once to check on us, replenish drinks, or update us on our meals.
Overall decent experience. Had the duck and chicken entrees and they were delicious! The appetizers and dessert portions weren't really worth the price. Time wise, it took two hours from being sat to pay, which was a bit longer than we like but it was also a Saturday night. We'll be back to try more entrees.
The food was outstanding! However, it was a bit crowded and noisy. The service was decent, but there were long wait times for both food and drinks. The bar was really slow, and I waited 30 minutes for a drink. Nonetheless, the food truly was fantastic.

I had the filet mignon, and it was incredible. My friend ordered the homemade pasta with short ribs and bolognese, and she was very impressed. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall, we had another fantastic experience at MCK.
