Mignon Bakery - Tisch resevieren

What a surprise to find this delicious Iranian bakery in an indoor mini-mall attached to a market. We were wandering around the street waiting for friends to eat nearby and stumbled upon this bakery. I needed breakfast food for the family and saw all these cookies I've never seen before. She let me try the small round ones made of chickpea flour-wow so cool. Bought another container that looked like dumplings she said they had marzipan inside. Wow never had those so that was a hit at the house. Bought other cookies that were more familiar that I'd get at my local Armenian bakery but everything was really delicious and fun to try.

Mignon Bakery is located inside the Valley Marketplace Supermarket in Reseda. It's one of several shops in the building, situated outside the supermarket itself. I tried a cream puff and a pastry that caught my eye, and both were delicious. I would have liked to try more items, but there were no labels indicating what each item was or their prices. Without knowing what I was ordering or how much it would cost, I only chose to get two items. I have to be mindful of my budget, after all! The parking lot behind the building is free, but it can be a bit tricky to navigate.

This cozy bakery offers freshly baked Persian barbaree bread, and in my opinion, it serves the best barbaree in Los Angeles. I recommend enjoying the bread fresh, but if you’d like, you can slice it and freeze it for later. When you’re ready to eat, just toast it and savor the deliciousness. Keep in mind, it shouldn’t be left out for more than a day, as it tends to become tough. That’s just how it is! P.S. I believe they only bake the fresh bread in the mornings, so be sure to get there early – they usually sell out by 1 or 2 PM at the latest.

The food was delicious, but I felt really taken advantage of. It was our first visit, and I asked for the same item that the woman in front of me ordered (an assortment of randomly selected cookies). The woman at the counter gave me a smaller container and definitely charged me more than what I expected. I suspect she used the language barrier to her advantage, and since they don’t display prices or a menu, they can charge whatever they like. To the lady that wants to talk smack about Persians as a whole go look in the mirror maybe people left bad reviews because it was a result of bad service OK but of course you probably know that shady bad service bakery worker chick that works there so you turn around and leave a shady comment like that because you're a shady person yourself

I love everything about Mignon bakery my whole family been their pastries and bread customers for over 10 years every time I eat something from this place it’s reminded me back home sweets and pastries Thank you for backing for us and keeping original test of back home

The lady who sells there is really hursh, she didn't let me see the bread first and when I asked her to let me see first and buy it then she started yell at me. When I got home and see the bread it was burned

The pastries were just OK but seriously overpriced and charged by weight. Will not be coming back
