Whenever we visit a new place we seek out Caribbean food. This time, it meant a 90 minute round trip from our hotel in Cadiz, but we thought we’d give it a try….and it was well worth it! The owner, Michael, is warm and welcoming, and his team are fantastic. The food is first class, both in terms of flavour and portion size. He offers spicy and sweet versions of his jerk sauce to cater for all palates (our spicy version was amazing! The cocktails are also great quality and flavoursome. DON’T MISS THIS SPOT! Miguel’s has been our absolute favorite meal during our trip to Spain. While so many other restaurants are full of the same thing over and over again, Miguel’s gives you flavor, spice, and meat that melts in your mouth. My husband and I went for dinner and had to spot to ourselves with Miguel. We ordered two rum drinks (Hurricane and Eye of the Tiger), the coconut curry chicken, oxtail, corn fritters, and sweet potato fries. Every single thing was PHENOMENAL. Awesome. the waiter is attentive, polite and extremely friendly. I ordered lamb with curry that was accompanied by basmati rice with some beans and rúcula salad, avocado lettuce and tomato. Very good. My wife asked for a lobster cap with rice she loved. my daughter chicken wings that according to her are the best she has ever tasted. The best food we had in Costa Ballena with the friendliest stuff and cook! They speak english very well. Liked the chicken curry and prawns bob marley the most (been there 3 times in 10 days). If you are nearby you have to come here. And one more positive aspect are the prices. We were 7 people and they were quick with everything. As it is a small place it is better to make a reservation.
Hombre, ¿por dónde empiezo? Probablemente la mejor y más conmovedora experiencia que he experimentado en un restaurante y el hecho de que fuera en el extranjero lo hizo aún más agradable. Era como si conociera a estas personas de toda mi vida. Me convierto en un habitual aquí y me encanta cada vez que voy allí. la comida, la gente 10/10 .
Estuvimos cenando una noche de enero Abren todo el año, lo que es de agradecer, la atención muy buena y la cocina fantástica. Lo platos nos parecieron un poco escasos por el precio, pero es el único pero. Muy sabrosos y bien cocinados. Volveríamos.
