This place used to be one of my go to sushi places in the area. However their service and food have gone downhill real fast. We were only ones eating in the restaurant yesterday and despite this, all the staff were standing around chatting about nothing in particular. One waiter and about 3 other people including the food prep guy are doing nothing but chatting. We had to flag down our waiter multiple times for basic requests, i.e. ready to order, more wasabi, and most importantly our hot sake tasted horrible with a bitter weird funky taste. We told our waiter about it who apologized and disappeared for another 10 15 mins. He finally came to take our order (still hasn 't brought us a new sak...
I first reviewed this restaurant about a year ago and have been coming back regularly since then to enjoy their delicious rolls and, in particular, their 28-piece sashimi platter! The prices in the Bay Area are unbeatable for the quality you receive. The sashimi is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently high in quality. While this may not be a fancy, expensive Japanese restaurant, if you're looking for affordable, freshly prepared sashimi, this is the place to go. I have noticed that the price of the 28-piece sashimi XL has increased from $40 to $45.95, but considering the generous portion and top-notch quality, it is still worth every penny. We originally planned to come for the sushi boats, but unfortunately, they were not available. However, we were pleasantly surprised by our visit. Everything about this restaurant was excellent. The food was reasonably priced considering the portion size and quality. Our waiter was very attentive and polite, despite our table being quite demanding. Another positive was the ease of finding parking. Thank you again!
I loved the atmosphere in this place and want to give them another shot. On our first visit, the flavour of the sushi was not good, but I was having a tough time putting my finger on what the problem was. Udon was fine. Service fine, cleanliness fine. I was honestly just really comfortable, so I 'll give 'em another try later. Can 't recommend them at the moment, though.

This restaurant is our favorite spot for comforting sushi, offering a variety of tasty special rolls and cooked rolls. We particularly enjoy the unlimited refills on hot tea.
Attentive friendly staff. Good sushi ? portions for the price. *sushi boat currently not running since the pandemic, it may start up again in a couple of months.
First of all, by the 3 stars they have, I knew I should go for it and try this place outI was sure they had a hidden agenda behind their menu.

Came here for lunch twice, first time towards the end (around 1:30PM), this time around noon.
Don't GO Personally it was a waste money and a big disappointment.
