I've been here a few times, but this time is the worst. Waited about 5-8 minutes for someone who brings us menus and asks for drinks, think they were not busy. Finally ordered my plate was brought to me with a white piece of plastic directly on my food. I told my waitress I wouldn't eat anything she just brought me. I heard the waitress and the cook over the apparent plastic. Waited for a new plate for 10 minutes and half the food was cold. Finally, food waited another 10 minutes in the hope that the waitress would come to bring the check, never happened when she played on her phone. I enjoy visiting this quaint diner. It brings back memories of the diners I used to frequent with my grandparents as a child. The food is your typical diner fare, tasty but nothing exceptional. The prices are unbeatable! If you're looking for a satisfying meal at a great value, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and familiar with the regulars. I always have a lingering worry that small diners won't accept credit cards (based on a past experience), but thankfully they do here without any issues.
The service is great and the food is excellent! The burgers are fresh and don't taste frozen, the raven dinner is surprisingly tasty, the curly fries are perfectly seasoned just the way we asked, and the jalapeno stuffed peppers are amazing. The shakes are out of this world! My family and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant.
I think people need to realize that there are only ever really 2 girls serving. They do the best they can. The food is good and normally at night there is 1 cook. So some of these reviews are unfair to the workers who bust there tail every night and morning. They please everyone, but normally people are happy with there performance. We tried another restaurant on the road that was too crowded, so we went to Plan B Mikies instead. The food was incredibly delicious, especially the cream chip beef. The staff were very friendly and it was clear that many customers were regulars. If you enjoy classic, homemade fare, this is the place for you!
