I had a fantastic experience at a pizza place in Astoria. They prepare their dough fresh, which takes a little time, but we had ordered pasta and appetizers to enjoy while we waited. The octopus and tiger prawns were delicious, although the shrimp were a bit on the small side. The Caesar salad was also quite tasty. Of the pasta dishes, we really liked the Rigatoni, but I wouldn't recommend the other two. The pizza, however, was outstanding, and I would definitely return. The wood-burning pizza oven really makes a significant difference!
Amazing! Came for dinner on a weekend and were immediately sitting outside. Server was attentive and kept it real. We ordered the beets as starters and they were perfect! We also got the burrata that came with a grilled sourdough, we needed more bread for the burrata that they house. For our main we shared the mushroom and Swiss pizza, which was also amazing. Loved the unique combo! I have the stain on the side that was delicious. 11/10 would recommend and can not wait to come back and try more pizzas.
The pizza was absolutely delicious, especially the crust, which was crispy yet had a wonderful chewiness. We ordered two pizzas—one for myself and one for my friend—and we even saved room for dessert! We tried the spicy soppressata pizza and the Willy Momeatball pizza, and we finished every bite. The individual pizzas were just the right size. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
Everything was excellent. All the dairy products were of the highest quality. I especially enjoyed the ricotta with honey and figs. The pizza had plenty of tomato sauce, and the crust was seasoned just right with herbs. The portions were on the smaller side, which might make it a bit pricey. Myself and 2 colleagues just had a tremendous lunch at MilkFlower. Delicious octopus and light tasty meatballs to start followed up with 3 person pies. MilkFlower rates high on my Queens pizza list!
