Wow! What a delicious meal! Started with the Cuban egg rolls and Buffalo Chicken Dip, both were excellent, but the egg rolls are to die!!!!!!!!! The Bees Knees Cocktail! Was light and refreshing and perfect! My husband and I shared the BBQ sampler plate. I put the pulled pork with some of their sweet homemade BBQ sauce on my grain bread and loved it!! Mac and cheese and smokey and delicious. We were not disappointed. The furnishings and the terrace are warm and welcoming with posts and beams and an industrial feeling. The staff was friendly and well informed. Can't wait to go back and try more things! Great job guys!
We had the poutine special and the sampler platter for two with pulled pork, chicken, brisket, mac and cheese and cabbage. The food was really good. We actually made a hash this morning with the leftover meat. I'd love to see another bbq sauce... something less sweet than your red with more vinegar and no mustard. I'd also love a cornbread option without the maple. It was a great consistency but was too sweet for me. A great addition to St. Albans, for sure. Can't wait till your house made beer is available on tap.
We tried Mill river brewery for dinner tonight with the family,and I must say it was hands down the best meal our family has had in a long time!!! My 10 year old left stuffed, my 3 year old loved the maple cornbread muffin, and my husband and I loved the apps, brisket and our drinks especially the liquid love cocktail I had!!! Who would've thought a local car wash turned restaurant would be the best place to eat on a Saturday night!!!! Congrats to the Fitzgerald family!
Ladies night was a hit tonight. Outdoor seating with the heaters that are like huge torches were absolutely the coolest. I'm not a big drinker but my friends loved the selection. Choose your own 4 types of beer flights for them and a hot chocolate liqueur drink for me. Devine! Portion sizes are huge so if your worried about cost, just know you will leave with a to go dish for later. Haha Worth it.
Never disappointed, the food and service, always top notch. I've had the egg rolls, fritters,smokehouse burger, salads and more. Can't say what my favorite is, they all rate the same, outstanding! And oh those desserts, always perfect! Long road home is my kinda beer, pour me another! This place, the owners and their staff have a special place in my heart. 5 stars well deserved
Was told over an HOUR before closing that we couldn’t get takeout. Have literally ALWAYS have had a problem with this place. During Covid it was always a 2-3 hr wait, they’d be closed on random days or just closed early, or like tonight. Been looking forward to it all day, but apparently you need to call them three hours before closing to get food. Ridiculous.
Waited a hour and 15 minutes for a bowl a chili and the Shepards pie. Chili had no flavor, and the beans weren't even cooked all the way. Sheppard pie was an abomination of the dish. Brisket taste like it was cooked last week, bland ingredients, wasn't even hot after waiting that long. 5th time trying mill river bad experience everytime.
I LOVE this place. Just stopped in to try the new Spring into Summer wheat ale. It might be the best beer I’ve ever had. Came in for 1 growler, ended up leaving with 2. Also really enjoy the food. Ribs are fantastic and fried chicken is TO DIE FOR. Everyone there is so friendly. Highly recommend.
Food was great! Service was great and my son cleaned his plate he never does that! He also said best BBQ ranch dipping sauce was best sauce ever! He's fussy!
