Under staffed? This was my first experience ever here, and it seems the front of house staff this morning was under or untrained. Myself and a table of two were only people in. Didn't ask if customers needed anything after bringing out food, which came out fast and was excellent (amazing white cheddar grits). The other table went to the pickup area to look for pepper and salt and was kind enough to bring me some as well. Flagged the staff to ask for my tab which prompted staff to ask if I wanted my empty coffee filled, it took 20 minutes to pick up my cash and ask about my water, because after the other table left TWO people came in right after and sat at the bar. Always flavorful and great portions. A unique and quality restaurant in Crystal given that most everything else is a fast food chain in town. The turkey cranberry sandwich and grits are amazing. The rum cake is awesome as well, didn't see it when ordering takeout but if they still have it for dine in, get it!! For those previously who left negative reviews complaining about the wait times, etc remember this... I should eat here every week! SERIOUSLY! I had the grilled chicken sandwich a couple weeks ago, and I couldn’t stop raving about it to my coworkers. Chicken breast kissed by smoke, and grilled to juicy perfection. The sauce was the key ingredient—wow! I. Want. That. Every. Day. Tonight, I tried the pulled jerk sandwich and it delivered on soooo many levels! Warm spices, salt pepper, mixed with just the right amount of peppery heat. The flavors intensify with satisfaction with every bite. It’s a whirling dervish of flavor that keeps giving and giving, until you find yourself at the last bite and wanting more. Could this be the BEST SANDWICH IN THE CITIES? Fight me.
Best restaurant in the new area that we moved to. The photo does not do this fiod justice. Possibly the best jerk chicken and grits that i have ever had! My gf always goes for the ribs and cried when she dropped her leftovers on the floor. It is that good. The only thing missing is a broader selection of soft drinks. This is a far step up from typical bar food. I tried their famous wings for the first time and they use unique breading that has a texture to it, holding in flavor. Except. But you need to go into Mil5ons with some grace...the service is slow and tables are too close together. For a fantastic restaurant, they seems to still be having trouble staffing. But please go anyway.
It would be so easy to drive past this gem, but don't! Their classic BBQ fare is amazing, and the rest of the menu is full of classics and many imaginative options. Wait staff was great even when short staffed. Truly a must go to place that isn't and not a big chain restaurant.
Used to love this place—nice ambiance and the food is great. But today we ordered something that was listed on the menu at one price but their computer system charged us extra. AND THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THE LISTED MENU PRICE. Never again!
