Once I took a bite of the chicken, I found it to be just okay—not the best or worst I’ve had. It was a bit too crunchy for my liking. On the other hand, the waffles were fantastic! I was genuinely surprised by how good they were. The combination of the warm waffle and syrup was phenomenal. The texture of the waffle was soft and hot, perfectly cooked, and it broke apart easily. However, the syrup was quite sweet, and I wished they had provided more because I love having plenty of syrup. Overall, I would rate my experience at the restaurant a 3 out of 5 stars.
I’ve never been to any Mimi’s Cafe. Unfortunately my first experience didn’t go so well. I understand that we were a group of 20 people, however we reserved in advance. The area where we were seated was warm(slightly hot at times). The waitress did their best she could and I appreciated her efforts. The dish was appetizing and the atmosphere was nice. I would think twice in coming back though, it’s a good restaurant and has potential, but needs work. (Sorry I didn’t have any pictures to load, It was a graduation dinner).
The restaurant was pretty empty which surprised me. I haven't been to a Mimi's in about 6 years. Food was delicious., I got some muffins and a loaf bread to go unfortunately when we ate those the following day they were super hard and dense they weren't fluffy tasty you probably had to dip them in some coffee if you wanted to actually be able to choose them but the restaurant food was really good can't complain about that I just wouldn't get any the muffins to go
There was this guy in the kitchen who was super loud. He was swearing like crazy throughout the meal. Loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. It made me feel really uncomfortable. This was my boyfriends first time here and it will certainly be our last. They really need to do some quality control on who they hire. The food was good, and the service was friendly. However, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired—everything felt dusty, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The bathroom was also in poor condition and had an unpleasant odor. With a remodel and thorough cleaning, this place has the potential to be a fantastic restaurant, perhaps even under new ownership. #STINKY
Had a wonderful experience with the parents here celebrating their 45th Anniversary! This place always has a cozy feeling to it and the food is spot on. We had Yammy the waitress, she did an outstanding job, she was kind and professional. Thank you for making my parent's anniversary a memorable one. Here are the plates we ordered.
I had an incredible breakfast here. The waffles and muffins were outstanding. Additionally, the service provided by Lorena was exceptional; she went above and beyond to ensure my table had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
