I was looking for a restaurant to take my family to for my Dads birthday. I’m so happy I decided to give Mims a try. The service was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and always made sure we were happy with what we ordered. I had the sautéed chicken and even though it sounds boring, it was delicious. Dined here for the first time this evening after reading many great reviews. My husband and I are always looking for a great date night spot. We arrived early and started at the bar for a drink. The food tasted great. I gave it 4 stars only because my body has a reaction to something that's added to the food. I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich, which was great. Unfortunately, a few hours later, my joints got stiff with pain and dicomfort. Haven't figured out what causes this. Maybe, MSG or some kind of sulfate product. Probably, the hot sauce. I like modern so the vintage did not flow with me. The service needs improvement, to justify a good tip.... simple questions like… Could I get you some water? Would you like some napkins? How is everything? Is there anything else I could get you?
Mim’s is one of our favorite places to enjoy. Having a delicious meal, party fundraisers, we have always been happy with their menu service. We have been going for many years. The managers are hands on always available. It’s the “go to” place.
Had my wife's baby showere here. Our guests were raving about the food! A buffet brunch was the right choice. Omelet station was a huge hit as well!
I was at Mims for a lunchtime private function. Everything was very nice. Absolutely no complaints. I hope to go back sometime for dinner.
