Absolutely loved it every time I've been here. However I was gobsmacked by the exceptional service I received last time. We had a yum cha lunch (honestly, to die for). And I had asked if one dish had shrimp in it (as it wasn't in the title). They advised it did, my friends ordered it for themselves and I chose to not eat it. Upon delivering to the table, the lady ran out concerned and checking who was allergic to shrimp as the meal did have it. I explained I'm pregnant and avoiding shrimp but was so overwhelmed by her concern. Every dish after that they told me upon ordering if it had any foods in it that pregnant women should avoid. Read all the positive reviews of Mings Place and decided to try it out. We were instantly greeted, signed in for as per requirements and sat down to read the menu. The food looked good that was coming out to the other tables, and...we were looking forward to ordering and enjoying our meal. However...we waited, and waited, and waited for the staff to take our order. They were not that busy and just ignored the seated diners. After watching people after us get served we decided to get up and leave. It was a very disappointing experience and I highly doubt we will ever return.

The food was absolutely outstanding, everything from the entrees, to the main were great, and dessert was also great too. Had an excellent dinner here tonight with my family. The staff were very accommodating in setting up the table to fit our large pram in for our 6 month old twin babies. The service was outstanding and our meals were delivered extremely quickly. The meals were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place. We went there for our anniversary. Do lunch for something different. The food was amazing. The service was friendly and inviting. We had to wait for about 10mins as it was packed but the wait was also pleasant as the the staff were lovely. Definitely will go back many times. Absolutely delicious food.
LOoking for a Yum Cha place , we came across Mings. Two years later and it's the Families go to Place... You Gotta Try their Pork Buns and their Deep Fried Squid is just too Good.... Dab that Chillie Oil and you will be coming...back for more...
We have been here a number of times. After spending considerable time in our lives in China and SE Asia we have been looking for authentic Chinese food in Townsville. This is it. You need to be interactive with the staff though.
Not happy this time. Ran out of some items on menu. Not much filling in steamed items. Under staffed. Fish tank was very dirty on front counter. Entre door was quite dirty Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The staff were very helpful and the food amazing. Only diners allowed and we were with of us. Service was great. We have been before and will go again.
