A bunch of us had dinner for my husbands bday. My husband and I had been here numerous times as we are addicted to the distinct flavours in each dish we order. Our friends loved every mouthful. Even their 2 year old enjoyed the food. As a group we got to try a big range of dishes with a good mix of entres, meats, rice and noodle dishes. Our hostess, and owner, Kandii was fabulous paying attention to every detail making sure that every dish that came out of the kitchen was up to a very high standard. The quality control is amazing. when you walk in to a restaurant and its hard to find a seat your first impression is the food must be OKAY, i have been here before but not for a while , new staff and menu makes you think this is exciting , had a look at the very extensive menu and thought this is going to be a challenge, so much to choose from , i had salt and pepper chicken as a main , the plate was so full i said to my self how an i going to get through this magnificent dish , plus fried rice and a coke , well after 30 mins of eating i finished what i would call a feast of top quality food , highly recommend if your after a first class VIETNAMESE DISH , Doug from dingley village
If you really what an fantastic Asian / Vietnamese feed then THE MINH KY restaurant is the place to go , great service , as in you are seated within 1 minute with your flask of special tea ,cups and menu's , the menu is like an encyclopedia of brilliant foods from , duck, pork , fish, you name it they have it , the fried won tons are great as are the meat and rice dishes, my favorite is the ginger fish, spring onion sauce with boiled rice , the fish just melts in your mouth , but really any dish is great and always plenty on your plate , HIGHLY RECOMMEND , DOUG F , FROM DINGLEY VIILLAGE

Unfortunately the food here is not good and my partner had food poisoning the day after dinner and he hadn't eaten anything else that day. Also they have a second restaurant which serves a more expensive menu for westerners, very poor.
Don't be discouraged by the decor! Great Value for money and Large Portions! Every time we come here, we end up taking some home with us. The taste is amazing - especially the BBQ Pork and Chinese Sausage.
Little awkward to find but worth a visit. Mixture of Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. Tried the XO Duck with vegetables, egg noodles. Very tasty and good size. $15 was reasonable.
