I had the most amazing experience with Mint! In June, I decided to throw a surprise birthday party for my sister Karen, who was hitting a “milestone.” I looked at several venues, and then became aware of Mint’s excellent reputation, and after reaching out and having a preliminary conversation with Alberta Jarane, who owns and runs the restaurant with her husband Hassan, I knew that I had a partner in creating something really special. My sister is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, and a former chef instructor; she doesn’t need food to be fancy, but she wants it to be really good. At Mint, it really is. Ordered two specials. Passionfruit Watermelon Gazpacho and Grilled Watermelon Salad. Both were disappointing. No flavor in the soup. The Watermelon salad was just an uneven slab of Watermelon grilled tasted like the grill) with some feta sprinkled on it. Texture was slimy. A tiny side salad next to it. Tasteless as well. I left most of my soup and all my salad. I've been wanting to Mint for a while. Oh well
I stopped by to check out the storefront and ended up meeting the owner, whom I recognized from reading about the restaurant. He kindly let me sample a few cheeses, which were absolutely incredible. We chatted for a while, and when I asked to buy some of each cheese I tasted, he wrapped them up for me. This restaurant not only has a Michelin recognition, but it also exudes such a warm and inviting spirit.
I had the pesto Caesar salad and added grilled chicken. The dressing was perfect. Sadly the romaine was limp with no crispness and was all outer leaves. The worst was the chicken, it was dry and over cooked. Plus there was only a few shavings of Parmesan cheese. Very disappointing, how did they get a Michelon star? The atmosphere and service were great, however.

The ambience is great. The location is a premium store and a wonderful restaurant! You have to get the Charcuterie board. The cheeses are first class.The service is prompt but not overbearing. If you travel north from NYC it’s worth a visit!
The staff were absolutely lovely! A little pricey, but it was a good experience. Had some vegetarian options. Had the beyond burger, I liked it, they had their own spin on it. Different than what I've had before.
It took forever to get our food. It was nicely prepared. The child's cheese tortellini was the best. We liked the pressed sandwich and sweet potatoe fries. It's a cute spot.
The food was outstanding. I had the Moroccan Chicken, which was delicious. I also tried the grilled figs as an appetizer, and they were very flavorful.

Went for lunch. The duck confit and chicken truffle paninis were excellent. Owner/manager was very friendly but our waiter wasn't on top of his game.
I really enjoy this restaurant! The menu offers a great variety of options.
