Mio Modo - Tisch resevieren

Upon being seated, we were given two bowls: one with a mix of olives and the other with thick crumbled parmesan drizzled with a balsamic reduction. They also served a plate of what I would describe as buttered and olive oil-coated toast, but without any toppings. It was a rather odd combination. I really wish they would bring back the classic bread and butter. For appetizers, we ordered the carpaccio, which was delicious, though I felt the presentation could have been more appealing. For our main courses, we tried three Fettuccine Limone, one Pesce Bianco al Limone, and one daily special, which turned out to be the highlight of our meal. Good Evening, We had dinner with you last Saturday, and while I don’t want to be “that guy,” but I think you should consider getting the sewer problem fixed before seating anyone in the back of the restaurant. That really is a health department concern as well. While the quality of our food was great, our waitress seemed to be overworked (which didn’t hinder me giving her an almost 30% tip on a 200.00+ bill), we were very disappointed that we had to sit and smell a sewer through an entire meal. I don’t hold our waitress or the other staff accountable, but I do hold the management and the establishment accountable. Overall, great experience! Staff was super attentive. Literally, we had 5 different staff wait on my friend and I. We had the hostess, bus boy, waiter, food server, and table side mozzarella maker. All were very kind, talkative, and knowledgeable. The restaurant was recently redone so it looks completely different love it! My only complaints are how tight our high rise booth/chair combo was. Im 5’4” so I had to hop up onto my seat. Felt taller than a usual high rise. Then, it was extremely loud. Loud music, loud talkers, dishes clanking like crazy… I suppose that is more normalized nowadays, but still quite too loud that I could hardly hear my friend. Food was delicious! My daughter and I went to Mia Modo to celebrate her 21st Birthday. It was the first time we had been there since the remodel. I was totally impressed with every aspect of our dining experience. We loved the new bar design, the cool atmosphere, the spacing of the tables, the food and drinks were top notch and most of all the service was spot on. Chef Peter came out and introduced himself. He and our server Janelle took great care of us. I could not say enough about them. They also had a large number of support staff that was on their game all night. I work across the street at the Moss-Norris Funeral Home, and I would definitely recommend Mia Modo for family luncheons. Keep up the great job.... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I was really looking forward to Italian food but I ended up being very disappointed at Francesca's. The service and staff are excellent, no doubt about it. The problem here is definitely the food. The fried calamari was bland and very rubbery, seemed undercooked despite sending it back to get cooked more. The veal was tough, definitely not deserving of the price. The ravioli was good but reminiscent of frozen ravioli that you heat up in water. Again, not deserving of the price. I find that it unfortunate that restaurants that belong to large restaurant groups sacrifice food quality for profits. I don't need to go here again.

We have been dining at Francesca's restaurants for over 20 years. Most recently we visited Francesca's by the River in St. Charles. We ALWAYS order the Mussels. My husband and I were disappointed this evening to see the size of the order was drastically reduced. In the past we have ordered a cucumber and pea pod salad, unfortunately it is no longer on the menu. We decided to order the Burrata salad tonight. It might be the worst item I have ever ordered anywhere. We were really disappointed. We ordered take out, so we were stuck with what we got.

This lively restaurant in St. Charles offers plenty of parking and features a concise menu, including several good vegetarian choices. While the food is somewhat on the bland side, you might want to request some salt and pepper to enhance the flavors. The service is excellent and incredibly quick, so be sure to take your time when ordering. Although the wine selection is limited, they do offer some tasty cocktails, all of which lean towards the sweeter side. Overall, it's a reliable spot that's definitely worth a visit!

I tried calling the restaurant several times without getting an answer, and despite the staff's promises that the manager would return my call, I never heard back. My friend has had similar issues. This is a clear example of poor customer service. I would definitely NOT recommend Mio Modo. Amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere still embodies the Italian fine dining experience Francescas was known for. Will definitely be back to continue a tour of the new menu. Love that they still kept many Francescas favorite dishes as well.

Mio Modo is awesome and we are here weekly!! Great food, atmosphere and staff! Very accommodating and friendly. Sergio knows everyone by name and works the restaurant to assure everyone has a wonderful experience. Wine list is excellent too! Gotta check it out.
