We've been looking for a Turkish restaurant and wow! We found this nice establishment on Central which serves a limited but delicious menu of either Turkish or Greek fare. Cozy establishment with 4-5 booths, a few tables as well as outside seating. Reminiscent of my trip to Greece and my favorite Turkish restaurant in a different state. I wanted to try everything but had to make an decision. I chose the Mio's Yogurt Kebap which is thinly sliced beef and lamb mix gyro cooked with our flavorful special sauce served on rice pilav bedding and yogurt on the top. I absolutely loved this restaurant! It's a small, intimate hidden gem that you could easily walk by without noticing. It would be a big mistake to miss it. We tried the cold mezze sampler and it was fantastic. The basilikum, hummus, and wulgursalat were the best I've ever had, and the gyro Greek salad was amazing. Make sure to save room for the baklava - it's a must-try. This is now our favorite spot in St. Pete's.
Mio’s Grill Cafe on 2nd Street in St. Petersburg is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful Mediterranean food. I really like the location and atmosphere that they have available here. Beautiful day and we sat outside where the waitress took excellent care of us. The food was superbly tasty and so filling we took the rest home. We thoroughly enjoyed it in spite of the weekday construction noise across the street.
This restaurant is consistently fresh and delicious! Their homemade lentil soup is fantastic, the falafel is the best I've ever had, and the hummus is always satisfying. It's one of our favorite spots in St. Pete!
The staff is very welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The food is delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the Turkish soda drink which was not as sweet as typical American soda. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful service, food has great flavor and portions. The complimentary tea at the end of the meal encourages you to relax before rushing to your next task. Highly recommended.
