It’s a fantastic setting, perched on a steep hill overlooking the city and bay. The food was bite-sized courses that just kept coming, which kept the interest up for the evening. It was beautifully presented and full of textures and flavours. We were greeted with a passion fruit cocktail, lots of flavour and tang, and had about 13 courses. Memorable ones include artichoke 3 ways, both smooth and crispy, the best steak we have ever had and a delightful and generous plate of petit fours. A few marks off for slow service towards the end and the vegetarian offering was significantly less interesting.
Everything was was very nice (views, food, and service). Unfortunately, a table of 20 drunk, loud, and obnoxious individuals were seated next to us. I am all for someone having fun but think someone at the restaurant should have stepped in to address the situation and that didn't happen. Overall, it clouded our otherwise very nice dinner. Very unexpected for a place with this type reviews. Our experience left us thinking we should have spent our money elsewhere as there are many other great options in San Sebastian.
Two weeks ago I was in this restaurant with the best views of Donosti! the spectacular food; we went from tasting menu and we loved the variety, quality of presentation and wonderful cuisine we taste! came a great wine regajal and the fantastic deal! I'll be back! 100€ per head very well paid
La comida y el trato excelentes. Fuimos con una persona mayor en silla de ruedas y nos atendieron muy bien. Además con vistas espectaculares de Donostia.
