I ordered a whole chicken and a lamb gyro. The chicken was incredibly moist and perfectly cooked, but it lacked flavor overall. Although they offer a variety of sauces, they were quite creamy and heavy. The gyro was decent, but it had large chunks of feta that I would have preferred to be chopped up. Additionally, there were only two very thin slices of meat, with more lettuce, tomato, and cheese than anything else. I would consider coming back to give it another try, but with so many great food options in the area, this place didn’t quite make it to the top of my list.
This restaurant offers the closest experience to a home-cooked meal from Peru in the DMV area. My favorite dish is the Lomo Saltado. Keep in mind that made-to-order dishes will take longer than fast food, so be ready to wait and enjoy the sound of the chickens roasting on the charcoal. The food is fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. On this visit, my wife tried their special, which was chicken kabobs with rice and fresh green beans! They offer a fantastic variety of chicken flavors, with three different options to choose from.
I brought my family here for dinner, and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, I believe the restaurant struggles due to its poor location, tucked away and hard to see on Route 3, which left it completely empty on a Saturday night. I really hope it manages to stay open because it truly deserves to succeed. In fact, I wish they would consider opening a location closer to me, as this one is a half hour drive away.
I really like this place. Their charbroiled chicken is juicy and very tasty. They have many delicious sides to pick from. I typically order the quarter dark chicken with a side of fried yuca or green beans and fried plantains. And their green sauce is the best (in my opinion). The service is great whether you?re dining in or doing takeout. I would highly recommend this place if you?re ever craving Peruvian food.

The portion sizes here are HUGE, the price is LOW, the kitchen is CLEAN and the food is DELICIOUS! I never write google reviews... ever! But these people are too good and they should be rewarded for keeping their prices low and their quality high! Best place to eat in Crofton/Gambrills by far... and that's saying a lot because there are SO MANY DANG RESTAURANTS in Crofton/Gambrills!
Good chicken and reasonable service. Unfortunately the sides had apparently sat out all day and were not fresh. Seems like a relaxed environment and plenty of options. I really want to try some of the options other than chicken to see how that goes.
Delicious! My wife is from Peru and so far this is the best ceviche she is found outside of Virginia!
