I’m not sure where to begin… I came with high hopes. Ordered, half slab plate; mac n cheese/fries/cornbread. Tried cucumber lime mule and catfish strips. Honestly, if I would just gotten a couple of appetizers, I would have been happy. The ribs do not come with any sauce, there is a spicy or mild on the table. There were jalapeños in the Mac n cheese and cornbread, I am not a fan of spicy foods. The ribs were ok but not great. But for $23 you get plenty. I should not have ordered a cocktail as I do not normally drink, was only able to take a few sips. Maybe it was too strong? Not sure. The catfish was good. The best part was the service to be honest. amazing experience. I yoned for chickens and mis kim has not disappointed. my fried chicken with Slav, Mac cheese and Jalapeno maize bread (and I never say that) was all great eating. the chicken was moist and fried and the right arta seasoned. her shiny has a nice taste and not slander like most. the maisbrot was the perfect mix of corn-Jalapinio quality and I will claim that the Mac cheese is the best I had in the Oside area...seriously...big scams/Savory flavor. my buddy was just as impressed by the crooked sponges and the fries. beautiful crispy tasty snacks (no need to be cooked extra) many thanks to x10
Stopped by this place for some beers and ended up getting the ribs, chicken and gumbo. The ribs were perfectly cooked. A decent bite and great flavor. They didn’t need a sauce and paired well with the sweet cornbread that they were served with. The chicken was excellent as well. The deboned thighs had an excellent breading and juicy meat. A couple dabs of Tabasco sauce helped balance the dish. Great gumbo! Although their was a bay leaf that needed fished out of our cup, I would definitely get the gumbo again! Pulled pork sandwich, fries and iced tea with lemon. Stopped in for lunch and already looking forward to my next visit. Friendly service, good food, good music and adult beverages…this place is great. Lots of wall art in the dining area and bathroom. I’d definitely recommend this place as the food is good and prices aren’t sky high.
epic! summer of the best bbq I've ever had! super fresh, unique dishes, rival nola cajun eat safe. gumbo is crazy, fried chicken, wadling, wels and ripen all amazing, including the most unique **** mary in the world, spoiler, comes with ripening up! great faster service. very expensive but and busy, touristy. I'm sure I'm back!
Excellent ribs. Very cozy and I am pretty sure the place loves DEM SAINTS!! WHO DAT!! Their portions are enormous as my wife and I tried to finish the platter and we had to put up our white flags. Not bad at all for $44. You get 2 sides and jalapeño cornbread. Fantastic.
finally tried mis kim by that boy good, and we can see why this place has so great reviews. in the interior of oceanside outside the mission directly on the coast hwy, they have a lot of the same menu as the original restaurant that boy good (has not yet tried Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Went with the dirty fries, wife got the brisket sandwich. The cheese in the dirty fries reminded me of canned cheese, the same sauce used in the mac and cheese. Great place to watch football.
