We sat down to order lunch fort two. Coffee came out lukewarm (very good coffee though, only reason they didn 't earn a 'terrible ' rating), and our milkshake came ten minutes later after our food. The food was extremely overpriced for what it is. It 's clear...they don 't have a deep fryer because they do not offer chips as a side, the schnitzel sandwich we ordered was soggy, and the clearly straight from the packet frozen wedges were undercooked and roasted. Why even offer wedges on the menu if you don 't intend to serve them properly? Every other cafe in whitfords will give you a better and cheaper experience than miss Maud 's whitfords. My advice is to stay away.
on Friday, especially for nostalgic reasons, as we visited many years ago, sung with my mother after miss maud whitford, and we were both very disappointed. ordered the chicken and avo Turkish brot toastie with charalat. the toastia was simply ok, but quite bland, and the halat was a piece tomaten and a half salat leaf. This visit I bought a Va Va Voom Vanilla Drip cake for my birthday TAKEAWAY. I had never seen this cake before but thought because its vanilla it would suite the whole family. It was easy enough to cut at home but it didn't...taste great. No one enjoyed it. The next day I took a leftover slice to work. I didn't realise but by the time i got to work the butter icing had soften and it was more enjoyable. I wish the staff had told me this when i bought it as I would of left my cake out of the fridge before serving to my family. Next birthday I think I will stick to my standard icecream cake from elsewhere.
Had breakfast in the cafe and opted for our coffee to be in takeaway cups rather than usual porcelain cups/mugs. Wow! they charge an extra 80cents for the benefit of the paper cup, which incidentally also benefits them as there is less washing to do....I could probably buy a dozen paper cups for that price at Officeworks. And when it applied to both my partner's and mine, that was a whopping $1.60 for the pleasure??!!?? Won't be back for another round.

we decided to remember dad and eat at miss mauds. they told us that it would wait 25 minutes to eat. the place was busy and there were a couple. large tables full of families. that was finally coming to eat and was not as much presented as other miss maud caffes I was. the personal was not so friendly either. that will not stop me from going to miss maud, but it seems that this caffe was not prepared for a busy day.
we love miss mauds, as they can say from previous contributions, but today this was not the case. I have in the regular a smoked salmon bag that is my favorite on the menu. Today it was hard like a rock and after half the. the court, I couldn't eat anymore. I told the waitress who apologised, but I didn't offer half of what I paid and no salvage. not satisfied customer with this opportunity.
Whenever I decide to give miss mauds of whitfords, it will be the same. always get the order wrong - false filling, roasted sandwich not roasted or the waiting time is ridiculous in a not so busy time of the day. sent a...sandwich back, that should have been roasted, it came with only one side roasted. think they need a good overhaul or improve the trade of the personal
Had lunch with my wife and cannot complain about much at all the food was served in a timely manner , the wait person was pleasant and professional and the food was good although a bit pricey but we thoroughly enjoyed it

Miss Mauds is a must. Excellent food; very tasty. A great atmosphere and truly a flavour of Swedish cuisine. Well worth the money as you can eat all you want during smorgasbord sessions
