We visited the restaurant on a hectic Friday night before Christmas with a group of 8 people. The restaurant was bustling but we were quickly seated at our table. The staff was friendly and we were promptly given menus to order our food. The dishes arrived quickly and we were all impressed with the amazing quality. As an award-winning fish shop, the food was exceptional and we couldn't find any faults. The service was excellent and we highly recommend a visit. It was great value for money and we will definitely be returning in the near future. Two thumbs up from us!
I recently had a meal with my family at this restaurant just before Christmas, and I have to say the food was fantastic. We ordered fish and chips with a side of peas, which was a generous portion perfect for sharing. We also had bread and butter, tea, and a fruit drink. Unfortunately, my granddaughter spilled her drink, but our waitress, Stacey, quickly replaced it at no extra cost. The service was exceptional, as always. We are regulars at this restaurant and they consistently maintain high standards.
Took my grandchildren out for tea, our arrival was warm and friendly, despite them being busy. Found us a table and a high chair had time to peruse the menu and the waitress who took our order was helpful with suggestions re the children. The food that came despite them being busy quite quickly and was hot and clearly freshly cooked, I had no issue with portion sizes and feel I got what I ordered and that it was good value, we will definitely be back! Service was slightly disappointing. Because the chip shop is adjacent I just assumed my meal would arrive quickly. When it didn't I quietly asked the staff member why there was a delay, and was told it was because my salad was being made up. My meal was then delivered by an abrupt sounding staff member from the chip shop. I was then ignored. Food was very good. Just spoiled by my query. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great spot in Selby for a family friendly atmosphere and lovely food. Took my young ones for a Friday treat and not only was the food delicious and service prompt, but we were made very welcome in spite it being a busy Friday and having young children, which might make some places grimace. 10/10- will definitely go again!
Very nice vegan 'fish ' but the chips, if that 's what they were, were dire, flabby and tasted as if they both hadn 't been properly cooked and had been reheated. They were also a weird shape. I ate them out of hunger only. I had been delighted to find somewhere that did vegan 'fish ' but shan 't be going again.
The restaurant was very cold and the service was extremely slow. The food was nothing special. Overall, there are much better fish and chip restaurants that offer better food, comfort, and service. I was extremely disappointed.

Been going for 20 years using both take away and eat in,over the years the quality as always been excellent but in recent visits the quantity and quality as been very poor,
