I always find the staff at Mister Laffa incredibly friendly and welcoming and having the laffa's made right in front of you, fresh out of the oven is something you don't tend to see always. The food is not my favourite in town compared to Golden Pita Pocket on Keele/Hwy 7, but it's good in a pinch if you need to satisfy that hungry bug! I will stop in if I'm in the area but definitely wouldn't go out of my way to visit.
My last review of this place commended the food, and complained about the service. I went in there yesterday, and was unpleasantly surprised. The Laffa's were not made to order, as they always are...the salads were wilted, and some brown....and the shwarma was incredibly oily and tasteless!With the amount of shwarma competition in vaughan, I wont be returning here.
This restaurant's small and cozy atmosphere made it perfect for a family outing. The food was fresh and authentic. The complimentary baklava for dessert was amazing, as was the Persian coffee. I ordered lamb shawarma and it was cooked to perfection, very juicy and not stiff at all. The staff was very courteous and I had a great time
Food quality is superb, and portions are very generous. The service was great, and the owner is very friendly. They make fresh hummus (probably the best I ever had) and laffa bread (my kids loved it). We ordered chicken shish kebab and shawarma. Loved it! We are officially addicted! Does a brisk takeout business and a few tables available for dining in. Good size portions. Rice is heated up in microwave so not always hot when served. "Wait staff" do double duty, behind the counter and serving tables so do not expect the best service.
I'm officially addicted. Management is also great, friendly and always making sure that everything is okay. Check it out if you're looking to find a new favourite lunch OR dinner spot. The shawarma is big enough for a meal PLUS leftovers!
Nice owner, great falafel and lots of tasty salads and sides make this a nice spot for lunch. It can fill up with students so go early or a bit late. Great laffa and friendly service. You'll enjoy it, I sure did.

This place used to be (okay) when they first opened, however, it went down hill very quick the service is terrible, food was a little less than average, it is not the case anymore! Too bad!
