Haven’t visited this restaurant for a couple of years due to being away and returned recently. Everything was as good as I remembered. This is a neighborhood gem that seems to be a local favorite but quite below the radar for those not within the Palos Verdes/South Torrance vicinity. It’s tucked within a quiet medium sized, well appointed center with a small cluster of professional buildings and boutique shops. This was our first experience dining at this restaurant. Unfortunately, it is tucked away in a location that is not easily noticed unless you are familiar with its whereabouts. We decided to have dinner here as a casual pre-celebration for my sister's birthday. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was pleasant. We opted to share a steak and a MISTO trio plate. The steak was tasty, although it was not quite what I had anticipated for a traditional steak dish. I was slightly let down when our server did not acknowledge my sister's birthday, even though I had specified it as a "birthday celebration" when making the reservation through OpenTable.
Nice, quiet patio but needs a bit of a facelift- it can be even better if there were more plants or greenery and a bit cleaner. The area looked dusty. So much potential. Food was good. We made some substitutions and the staff was great about it. Very friendly and helpful. Best part of the place is the staff. Decent price range for location. Will be back again!
This place has been around for a long time. It looks like they are trying to make it better after a long time of declining customers. The food was good and plenty. The service is very good. They need to make the place brighter, it is too old and dark. We will go there more often.

I have been dining at Mistos for many years. Recently, I tried their Almond Crusted Sea Bass with Marsala and it was amazing! The portion size was more than sufficient. To start off my meal, I enjoyed my favorite dish, the Ahi Tuna Tartare.
The service at this restaurant is outstanding and the food is absolutely incredible! The owner is friendly, welcoming, and generous. I highly recommend this place without any hesitation!
Misto is a hidden gem! Delicious food and lots of menu options. It is quiet, peaceful dining, unlike many restaurants these days where conversing is difficult. Excellent service too!
