Ein Schritt in eine andere Welt oder eine andere Zeit. Ich kam viel zu früh in Frankfurt an und muss ehrlich sagen, der Bahnhof ist für mich nichts – alles hektisch und laut, dazu die Fast-Food-Ketten und der Airbrush-Geruch von Backwerk, nichts, was einem ein gutes Gefühl gibt. Dann entdeckte ich das Mitropa Café. Früher stand Mitropa für frisches Essen in Zügen und an Bahnhöfen, wie aus einer anderen Zeit. Freundlicher Service, nette Gespräche, leckeres Essen und ein Frühstück für 5 €. Hoffentlich bleibt das noch lange bestehen!
We bridged a 1.5 hour waiting time for the rail strike on March 8th, 2024. Our stay was sweetened with a piece of cheesecake, 2 coffees and a hot chocolate. All of this at an unbeatable station hall price of €11.90. The landlord is also incredibly friendly and can handle a full shop with ease. We will be happy to come here again on a future stay at Frankfurt train station. Our conclusion: Better have a coffee here than stand around stupidly on the platform.
Here you can relax and fill your waiting time in a pleasant atmosphere with a good selection of food and drinks. Thank you to the landlord who is a passionate restaurateur and who bought us champagne glasses for International Women's Day. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. We'll definitely be back!
Eine wahre Oase am Bahnhof. Alles ist ausgesprochen sauber. Der Service ist super freundlich und man ist angenehm abgeschirmt vom Trubel auf dem Bahnsteig. Die Preise sind absolut fair. Klare Empfehlung! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
