Went last night with the family. They don’t cook hibachi at the table just FYI. We stayed anyway because we were starving. My son ordered the steak hibachi and I ordered the steak and chicken. The steak was by far the worst I have ever eaten. There is no way it was actual steak. It was like salt and fat that was cooked. We both tried it and couldn’t even touch it. I told the server and she asked if we wanted to sub it for more chicken. My son didn’t want chicken so he declined. We ate the rice and noodles. They didn’t take anything off our bill and when I was paying she asked again how everything was and when I complained again about the steak she took my card and rang up my bill anyway. In...
Excellent service, but the food was poor. The rice had good flavor, and my wife liked the shrimp; however, the chicken and beef tasted like they were cooked with too much oil, too little soy sauce. The beef was very low quality. The atmosphere/ space is very nice. I recommend that the owners invest in better quality beef, retrain their cooking style, then increase their price to match. They also should just serve zucchini and onion with the base meal, and offer their spread of vegetables as a (extra) option; they provided a large variety, but too low quality. I use to eat here back when it was Ho Wah and loved it and it hated to see them close. Well I didn't realize that they are the same owners and the food is still fabulous. I got the steak shrimp and chicken with veggies and it was awesome I also got somescallops which were a great deal for the price and extra veggies. I got the wife some wings and they are some of the best on thebeach. Good job guys I love what you have done with the place. Very good food and nice inside. Love this place! Will definitely come back when on vacation at Myrtle beach. Food cooked fresh to order and everything we ordered had the perfect flavor! We had Hibachi steak and shrimp with fried chicken wings. Wait time was not long at all. BestJapanese food in town.
We got the house special hibachi. Very fresh and delicious food! A+ customer service and we didn't wait long for our dishes. Portions were large for the price! Will definitely come back when we visit again! You won't regret it!

We loved Mitsuwa! Friendly owners and staff, delicious food, and good prices for the amount of food. We had edamame, chicken hibachi, and house hibachi. The veggies are so yummy my guy ate them all before taking this pic ????
Food is fantastic!! Everything was freshly prepared and all of it was delicious. Will definitely be back on return trip!
