I would give this place 5 stars if they had better service. The food is awesome, love the music. Inside the decor is nice and black, sleek. Good ambiance. There is this one waitress, been there for years, she is awesome. They go through wait staff like people use Kleenex tissue. They always have new waitresses and they suck! The bussers are very sweet. The Chefs are excellent, respectful and shy. For some reason they just can’t find solid waiters and waitresses. Have to ask repeatedly for wasabi or drinks. They don’t check on you. This one server asked if we wanted anything else and I said could I have 2 more pieces of Unagi and she said as long as you pay for it and me and my date looked at...

Finally fed up....I couldn't stop going because they're food is good but the service is horrible. They constantly get the order wrong while making you wait a long time, the usual response is 25 minutes, I'll give them 40 mins, but then still spend 20+ minutes standing at the counter waiting (every time). I wish this place took reservations. We come here to celebrate birthdays and bring a small crowd (over 10 people). Kid-friendliness: They are always happy to see our grandchildren. The service at this restaurant is awful. The staff is incredibly slow; it’s almost comical. There’s rarely anyone at the front to assist, so you can end up waiting for 30 minutes without any help. The food isn't impressive either. I recommend heading to Mikuni for better service and quality meals. The chefs here seem to lack knowledge and skill.
