I can remember visiting Moby Dick's as a teenager when I used to come to Tenerife with my parents. Every visit since over the past 25+ years has seen many bars and restaurants come and go, but Moby Dicks has always been here! We decided...to eat in the restaurant out the back. We chose the bread with garlic mayo, which also comes with green and red mojo sauce as a starter and we both loved it. This was washed down with cola and a carafe of the house white wine, which tasted pretty good. For mains we had spaghetti bolognese and chicken with pepper sauce, which came with mixed veg and I additionally ordered Canarian potatoes. We were told of this place by our hotel rep, Sue, as the place to get a good steak. We went as our final night holiday treat. I had the sirloin with mushroom sauce and hubby had the fillet with pepper sauce. They were both...huge cuts, I couldn't finish mine, but they were perfectly cooked and well presented. I wish I could have finished it as it was divine! The owner was a little grumpy but I guess he gets fed up of people like me who speak either English or bad Spanish, but the younger girl was very friendly and funny. The whole meal with 2 beers came to under 35 euros. We would definitely come back here if we visited again, maybe I'll brush up on my Spanish too
these are great little restaurants run side by side by the same family. They make you very welcome and are very pleasant people. Manolo can appear a bit grumpy but he is a real fun guy when you get to know him. The food is...a real treat, a wide variety of local and international dishes, all prepared fresh by Manolo's wife and served by his very amusing daughter. The best part of the restaurant to eat is to go through to the back, there are tables inside and out there and you are away from the road which can get busy. A 2 course meal can cost under 10 euros.
we visited moby cocks on advice from a friend who visited teneriffa annually, we were met by a pleasant young woman who was shown in the back of the restaurant, we stayed without a menu or drink for ten minutes. Although there was only one other table used, the man who finally came to us seemed almost upset, even if we came at 8.30 he gave me the impression that he wanted to close, he was not pleasant at any rate my point......big food....bad service. we all felt very comfortable and it ruined the last night of a big Christmas break.

it is the perfect answer if they do not want to be in an advenerous mood, but still a nice well cooked meal. far from winning a Michelin star, it is relaxed, informative and tasty. it ticks the crates. nice eating, good service and in the location to sit outside and watch. the world over.
High quality products , well cooked by Maria and served by Manolo. Cherne marinera and the solmilo highly recommended. Just try and enjoy. We do it each holiday for more than 10 years now.
went for a meal cooked in Moby-Steak to perfection will be visited again also said the fish is very fresh will try that next time
service was good. eating options were quite similar to most other restaurants and tasted ok. good value for money.
