The menu changes all the time as they use seasonal local produce and the dishes are made to share. My companion ordered the pork belly and beef and said they were both excellent. Tucked away in sundrenched corner near the lake. A home herb garden with exotic herbs greets you to a little service counter and as you enter this little cafe you just fall in love with the romance of the rustic decor, the sound of delightful music and the busy happenings of an open kitchen. We went here for the second time last night - canberra needs more mocan and green grouts! The service was fantastic from the moment we stepped in. The food is delicate and yet full of flavour. The menu isn't extensive but looking at the menu, you really want to try every dish (hence why we went back again!). The menu changes seasonally so we will be back again! These chefs have some incredible talent - I will be watching them with interest. It was a great night and the fit out is fab - I really really loved it!
On a cold wintry day in Canberra, what a find! We had a couple of shared dishes, a couple of oysters for starters. Just lovely on every level. It was a very short walk from our hotel. In the morning, we got coffees there-very popular place (sous vide happening in preparation for dinner). Interesting lot of buildings with timber details, which the café obviously followed. Great service!

We came here for a quick breakfast and coffee, the place is small but does offer outdoor seating. They offer a small menu for breakfast but it's cooked perfect and they do a great coffee. If your looking for something different and unique it's a great little restaraunt.
Always surprises me that businesses like these survive - we waited 15 minutes for what turned out to be a cold coffee. Then order a tea to go which took another 15 minutes, service is slow and not particularly friendly.
Amazing food and really good service. I got the smoked trout salad and holy s$&t it was delicious!! My companion got the breakfast and had the maple bacon and it was so good
Ducked in for a very early breakfast pre-full-day meeting and the food, coffee and service soothed my soul enough to help me power through the day.
