We rolled into Fredericton just before 10pm, but we had been aiming to have dinner here despite their 10pm closing time. Ran in 15 minutes before closing to beg for a table and they didn't need help convincing - they graciously let us sit and eat as many guests were still there. Ordered a shrimp pasta dish, but the waitress noted that the specific pasta for that dish was all gone. She instead had the chef create a kind of frankenstein dish just for me that incorporated fresh shrimp with their pasta special of the day that included ricotta cheese. On the advice of the concierge at our hotel we walked to MOCO for dinner. I have a severe shellfish allergy, even to the scent, the staff was thoughtful as to where they sat us. I hate to say how rare this is so I was very appreciative. We had hot Italian dip as an app it was okay, not as much flavour as we hoped but still good. I want to say that my husband hates mushrooms. My husband and I had an impromptu dinner out, just the two of us, and chose Mocs. Their menu has been changed a bit since the last time I was here, now more seafood options. We ordered the escargots to start and we're very pleased with how many escargots were in the bowl. Plenty to share and the sauce they were in was to die for!! This restaurant would rank as ok in any city with decent restaurants. We had eight guys on a golf trip some felt it was good some not up to par. I had the special of fish and lobster which was good although the lobster was so minimal it should have just said fish. On the positive side we were seated upstairs in what was basically a private setting and our waitperson was an absolute plus. We didn't have a reservation but only had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. There were 6 of us including a vegan and we all loved our meals. The oysters were delicious and the fettuccine was fantastic. We asked for a dish from the lunch menu and the chef was very accommodating and made the halibut which was juicy and flavourful. We had a Chilean wine and it paired nicely. The service was excellent and friendly. The atmosphere was modern and cozy. Great place for dinner or drinks
Absolutely amazing food !!! Me and my husband had a great dinner there to celebrate Canada day... Even though the place was packed our bar-attender Josh provided us with outstanding service. He even went above and beyond and gave us a ride to our hotel as all the taxi providers were fully booked that night. Thanks again Josh ! I would definitely recommend this place.
The last time I went, I had the special, gnocchi with a truffle sauce - Oh my gosh!! so delicious! I've been before and it was equally delicious. I'm a big fan of Crème Brulée and it is scrumptious! wow!

Nice mix of casual and fine dining atmosphere. Best pasta in Fredericton hands down. Good drink, wine, and craft beer selection.
