I been to this store since it open. Now you don’t know what you going to get. Tonight was the last straw. When I walked in the pizza maker was rude, but I over looked it. Why she was taking my order she keep asking what I would want on my pizza, since they didn’t have many toppings on the right make line, so I would have to look on the the left side. The young lady would get upset because I have to look on the other side to see what I wanted. By the way I was the only person in line at the time. I also got a chop salad and she got upset, because I asked if she was going to cut the salami up and she said she had no way of cutting it up. I said ok, then she pulled the the salami off the salad...
An example of this was during my last visit, when the night manager loudly announced, "We're going to shut this place down at 10:45." It was only 10 PM, and Mod Pizza closes at 11 PM on Saturdays, so the comment seemed unnecessary and rude, especially since we were seated at a distant table and could still hear him. While I understand that working in the service industry can be stressful at times, it’s important not to take that frustration out on customers. After all, this job is a choice. Unfortunately, we've decided that it's worth the extra drive to another location just to avoid the poor service. The service was quite slow. Two customers ahead of us chose to leave without being helped because they weren’t even acknowledged. The staff seemed more focused on online orders than on the customers who were right in front of them. It was particularly disappointing to see four teenagers working on these orders while no supervisor was in sight. I understand that both in-store customers and online orders are important, but they need to prioritize both. Additionally, the drink station was in a terrible state—there were no lids, trash was scattered everywhere, the trash cans were overflowing, and there was cheese all over the floor. Overall, this place was a mess!
On July 21, 2023 I took my son for his 29th birthday my daughter and her two kids and my boyfriend to eat dinner at mod pizza. The kids behind the counter were doing a really good job. My complaint is because the manager went on vacation did not set those kids up for success. They were out of stuff they ran out of boxes multiple things. I've been coming to this location often since it opened. The past 3 visits very progressively been worse. The staff don't care. They hold in depth conversations with each other, while not paying attention to what they are doing, my pizza was taken by someone else. The visit before they ran out of cheese... on a Friday night, and another night they had to disable the online ordering for that location. This place needs an overhaul. Not sure if I will be returning any time soon.
The order was wrong when it was delivered. The salad came without dressing and pizza was covered in way to much cheese (asked for light cheese) and Mushrooms (not ordered). The crust was soggy and there was enough of a drizzle to swim in. Threw it all away. The Manager was unprofessional but did offer my money back. That did not fix the fact that we had no dinner. This is my second time dinning at MOD Pizza and it was great! I absolutely looovveee the Tristan. It is a Pesto pizza that you can build with whatever toppings you would like. I get all the original ingredients plus arugula, chicken, serrano peppers, and mushrooms. You can never go wrong with getting ranch on the side to dip it in. Highly recommend for a quick lunch break!Hope this helps.
The pizza and No Name Cakes are really good. Staff needs to keep the serving tubs from getting messy and prevent toppings from falling into other topping tubs. They also need to clear/clean the tables, floors, and patio frequently. If you want to be a takeout pizza place, then embrace that concept. Honestly, all the employees seem to focus on online orders, while the line for walk-in customers is out the door and there's no one attending to it. I've given this place three chances, and it's been the same experience every time. The pizza is really good, which makes it all the more disappointing.
