I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mofongo Restaurant, and as a fan of Puerto Rican cuisine, I must say it was an incredible culinary experience worth sharing. Finding a place that genuinely captures the island's flavors can be quite a challenge when you’re craving authentic Puerto Rican dishes, but my search led me to Mofongo Restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. I dined at the restaurant on Saturday night, and it felt just like being back home in Puerto Rico. Every detail was on point, including the coquito. The mofongo was the best I've ever had, and the queso frito with guava sauce was excellent. I also tried the flan de amarillos (sweet plantain flan) for the first time, and we absolutely loved it. The service was excellent—very friendly, just like you'd expect in Puerto Rico—and the live music was fantastic. It even brought tears to our homesick eyes. I absolutely love this place!
The restaurant was clean and pleasant. The alcapurrias were excellent! The food overall was amazing. The price for the chicken cracklings with rice and beans was a bit steep, but the dish was tasty. The trifongo was outstanding, and the octopus salad was excellent! The mojitos were $10 each, and I really enjoyed them. Our family of four spent $155.00, including tip, which covered Medalla beer, two mojitos, a piña colada, juice, and our meals. If it fits your budget, it's definitely worth it for the delicious food! Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. The Coqui Mojito was superb! The food was fantastic, but the highlight was definitely the service. Our waitress, Angelique, was exceptional and her recommendations were spot-on. The mofongo was incredible, and if you decide to visit, make sure not to eat breakfast beforehand because the portions are enormous! Thank you all for a wonderful experience!
Best restaurant expirence I've had to this day. Everyone was so friendly, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. So sad I forgot my leftovers after they so kindly made so soup to go with it. Thank you for the experience 10/10. If I find myself back in Miami I'll make sure to come back. ??Food: 5/5
Fantastic service! I was in search of a good Puerto Rican restaurant and decided to give this place a try. It served one of the best mofongos I’ve had in Florida! I highly recommend this restaurant; they made me feel right at home.
