I live in the area and I've had Mokja many times before but this was my first dine in experience. I went in early evening and the restaurant was not full. I'd say that they had a moderate crowd. We were sat immediately and from then on it was business asusual. Ordered delicious food. Eat said food. Feel full. Our server was excellent; not too absent but not too overbearing. Iwill definitely be back to dine in. The food, in my honest opinion, was better dining in. I dunno. Maybe its a temperaturething.
Had one of the best dining experiences here! The food was delish and the service was top notch. Loved the beautiful decor. Lee the owner came out to greet us and what a lovely woman she is! She checked in on us and made sure we were happy w our meal. Made us feel like family. The iced coffee was on another level ???. Highly recommend this place!!!
I typically opt for delivery, but today I decided to dine in, and I must say, it was amazing! The glasses are the cleanest I've ever seen in NYC! The service is perfect, and they even offered hot towels before the meal. If you find yourself in Astoria, make sure to visit this fantastic restaurant!
This restaurant is a laid-back and relaxed place to dine. The soft lighting creates a calming atmosphere. The server who attended to me was incredibly kind and welcoming. Very cute atmosphere. Great spot for small groups and a date. Great selections of Makgeolli, which is rice wine served in a kettle on top of ice with lights inside. I tried the banana flavor it was the perfect dessert wine after feasting on the kimchifried rice and griled pork belly.
This restaurant was a delightful surprise! The atmosphere, food, and service were outstanding. I especially enjoyed the miniature models displayed throughout the space, created by a woman from the restaurant. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to return!
I stopped by for a quick lunch during work and had an excellent experience. The service was outstanding; I received helpful recommendations for my order and tips on how to fully enjoy a hot stone bowl. Food: 5/5.
