This was an incredible and unexpected discovery. The woman who I believe was the owner was wonderfully kind and welcoming, with a grandmotherly charm that instantly won us over. We ordered the delicious chicken with peas, rice, cabbage, and of course, plantains. The portion size was generous and the price was just right. The food is exceptional—not the typical Caribbean fare that tends to tone down its flavors and spices. Instead, this cuisine is bold and vibrant, packed with flavor that makes you want to dance in your seat. Just a heads up, you might find yourself hooked!
This small establishment offers fantastic service with a friendly smile. The curry chicken was excellent, and the price was so low it felt almost like a steal. For just over $5, I enjoyed a full, delicious meal that I would have happily paid more for. They feature a slightly different menu each day, with a special dish for every day of the week. I’m excited to visit on a Wednesday to try the oxtail. If you’re in search of home-cooked ethnic cuisine, which can be hard to come by in the area, definitely give this place a shot!
The best Caribbean food I've ever experienced! The chicken curry was fantastic—very tender and perfectly cooked. Incredible! Every single side dish (cabbage, mac and cheese, plantains) was top-notch as well. There wasn't a single lackluster option among them. I went back for seconds and thirds! The owner, who also does the cooking, is so lovely! You can truly taste the love in every bite!
Food so amazing we are going back now for more! The Jerk chicken was buttery soft with a unique and wonderful spice she makes herself. The gravy on the chicken and rice peas was heavenly! The slaw had a tremendous flavor and was not soggy, yeah! I can't wait for dinner! Hidden gem; will travel 20+ miles to go again and again!

The food is fantastic every single day and very reasonably priced! I used to go at least once a week and I can assure you won't be disappointed! I moved away six months ago, and this restaurant is one of the things I miss most about the area. The food here is AMAZING—don't miss out on the chance to eat here!!!
Wow! I just found this place and I’m so sorry it took me so long! The food is just delicious! Today I had the breaded pork chop with rice and peas and cabbage. The two ladies there were wonderful! A small menu but they are cooking what they are best at! I’ll be back soon!

Another lunch today, another gem. Roast pork with rice/peas, collards, and plantains. The cook/woman/owner? is so nice. Food is all so good
