There's a half a pound of beef on the beef sandwich for $13. There's a beef and sausage combo sandwich for $12, when I asked how much beef was on the combo she said a half a pound. I had to question her several times because it didn't make sense to have the same amount of beef plus a piece of sausage for a dollar less than the beef sandwich. Finally another employee piped in and said there was a quarter pound of beef on the sandwich plus the sausage. I ended up ordering the combo sandwich. It was good but nothing to write home about and certainly not anywhere is good as the beef and sausage combo sandwiches you get in Chicago, but then again... We actually stopped in so i could grab some Olive Oil. First time shopping here. Very clean very nice staff. We were greeted upon entry as well as nice wishes upon departure. Didn't get a chance to try the food being served but we will next time. Only downside i wished there were more Groceries of choice. Some items you could find and will at your local market. I understand it's small however i was a little disappointed. All in all the prices weren't bad and the service was swift and friendly. Grazie new Familia
My wife and I have eaten at Mollica since we've been here 11 years ago. The food is excellent and I would recommend it to everyone if you like good Italian food. People are professional, friendly, friendly and make you feel at home. Prices are particularly appropriate during this day and age. And all the times we were there never had a complaint. So all I can say is to try, I think you'll really love it.
Definitely my favorite place to get a sandwich in the city! I get the cut turkey sub with a piece of cheesecake! You also have a few different sodas that I sometimes like to get! It is a fast casual place, good for a fast meal and it really meets the place! The staff is friendly and the restaurant has a pretty local mood on it! Would definitely recommend. Thanks for reading!
Not sure what I was looking for, but I ended up ordering a sandwich and sausage. The sandwich comes with a side of pasta. Maybe I was expecting more like a NY-style deli, but it didn’t meet expectations. Don’t get me wrong, the sandwich was good, but not great. I thought the sausage link was better. The service was good as someone came by to check on you.
Delicious, a cute little Italian eatery great for lunch. Updated my review down a star because their caprese salad, while having lots of ingredients, overall was very bland and their meatball sub a bit soggier than I'd have liked. Still will be coming back for the Italian hero though yum
Me and my family finally went and tried Mollica’s and everything was delicious and had an authentic Italian home feel. We all tried the Alfredo, meat tortellini, chicken parmigiana sandwiches and of course the cannolis.
Lunch and Christmas party shopping delicious salad and hot Italian beef sand! Salve selection of high quality Italian meat and cheese for your charcuterie board. I will definitely be back for more.
Great Italian food and dessert but a little pricey. They have a large outdoor seating area. They also sell frozen and fresh items in a refrigerated section.
