Moltaqa Moroccan restaurant provides the kinda new experience for people who don’t have any ideas about Morocco culture which is awesome.we ordered the lemon saffron lamb, saffron rice,vegetarian sample platter, duck with figs,Moroccan mint tea and ice cream baklava. We wanted to try almost a bit of everything on their menu. As I has the best baklava in Istanbul so my expectation is so high so and also Moroccan tea, it wasn’t the best version of it at this restaurant. As a Moroccan I usually avoid Moroccan restaurants as it is hard to find an authentic one. This restaurant was recommended by an acquaintance and also they offer a good variety of vegan options which is very rare...so we tried it and it was an amazing surprise.Loved the vegan options, very tasty and interesting.Decor and music take you to a place far away from Vancouver!Every Friday and Saturday nights there is a belly dancing ? dancer and she was an absolute star and performer!Service was excellent.Music can be a bit loud and a big ?? on the toilets because once you enter the restaurant you feel like you are in Moroc with the beautiful decor but the toilets are plain...Toilets are important...

I had a fantastic birthday dinner here tonight. The food was of excellent quality and perfect for sharing. I particularly enjoyed the variety of beverages available. This is the ideal spot to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Just keep in mind that the food and service may take a little while—everything great is worth the wait! So take your time to relax and fully enjoy the atmosphere. This place truly feels like a getaway and is a hidden gem. I highly recommend the cherries jubilee duck!
Literally the BEST hummus I've ever had! Had too much because it was so good but we couldn't finish dinner ? All servers and managers were so kind and sincere. The environment was lovely yet comfortable and the food was all amazing. We also had the cucumber salad ? Highly recommend it! The lamb and seafood, I'll look up the exact dishes and edit. Everything was wonderful ?Kid-friendliness: Not particularly great for young kids.
The food is surprisingly delicious, despite the somewhat gimmicky atmosphere with the belly dancing and decor. My only complaint is that it was too dark, forcing several people to use their phone lights to see their food or read the menu. Additionally, the music was quite loud, making it difficult to have a conversation.
