My family and I have been visiting this restaurant since I was a little girl, and my grandma has been going here even longer. We always enjoy delicious food and excellent service. The family that runs this restaurant knows us well, and every time we come in to pick up our order, they always ask how my grandmother is doing. They even give us extra noodles, knowing how much she loves them. It's truly a great experience whenever we get food from them. I believe their prices are fair, especially considering the quality of the food. We absolutely love this place and the people who run it!
This is a fantastic family-owned restaurant! I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Although I used to live nearby, I now drive all the way from Apple Valley just to get Wong's for my family. Please note that there is only street parking available, and the restaurant is quite small inside. We typically opt for takeout. The owners are incredibly friendly and have remained the same throughout the years, so it's a wonderful way to support a local family business! Their chicken chow mein is among the best I've ever had.
This place was not open long and now it 's for sale. I called there one time and a woman who answered the phone was very rude and kept telling me look at your menu . as I was asking her what the prices and options for dinner were. I had to repeat myself twice and tell her I did not have a menu and she just kept telling me to look at my menu. I ended up just hanging up the phone. It 's a shame that they closed but had they had better customer service and more neighborhood friendly prices they may have survived.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I have to say it was just okay—nothing really stood out to impress me. If I had to offer some advice, I’d recommend exploring other dining options. While the service was friendly and the food came out quickly, I felt that the quality didn’t justify the prices. Perhaps I’ll revisit and update my review down the line, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I ordered Chicken Lo Mein and fried chicken. The Lo Mein was excellent, and the portion size was generous. However, the fried chicken wasn't what I expected; the batter was too thick, reminiscent of sweet and sour chicken. Some people might enjoy this type of fried chicken. The service was quick. Overall, I would return, but only for the Lo Mein.
I ordered the Mandarin chicken, pork fried rice, egg roll, and cream cheese wontons. I had it delivered to White Bear Lake, and the food was prepared quickly and arrived hot! I'm really happy with this order. The vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was fantastic! I will definitely order from here again.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I love the idea of a takeout restaurant that offers comforting, home-cooked meals. I could enjoy the macaroni and cheese and collard greens every day!
Favorite Chinese place on the East Side. I been going here for 40+ years. The family that's been running it is amazing and the know the definition of customer service here. Great fresh food.

Consistently delicious with great prices! The chow mein is a family favorite! While the egg rolls could use some improvement, I highly recommend Wong's Kitchen overall!
