As I was staying overnight at the hotel before an early flight the next day, I was delighted to find an on site restaurant just a few steps away from my room. The service from 2 young waitresses was good and attentive. Plenty of bread and water carafe replaced quickly. I had the set formule. 2 choices for starters main course dessert. I chose the soup. It was beautifully presented and tasty but sadly lukewarm. The same for the main course, sea bass with polenta. I was reluctant to send it back having worked in catering and knowing how kitchen staff can react... My glass of Cotes de Provence tasted like no other I’ve ever had, being quite sweet. €5 a glass. Went for a simple family lunch with locals who work at the Airbus planet (it is the nearest plausible restaurant). Ambiance is good here, tables etc neatly laid out with space to move around. Very child friendly: we had an 8yr old and a 5 yr old, and their food came swiftly, as requested. Menu is somewhat sparse. Steak and chips was forgettably dull: my steak was correctly cooked, but rather gristly or tough; a tender steak, two-thirds the size would have been preferable. The chunky chips are horrible: I was expecting pommes frites. Deserts were okay. We only drank water (hot day, office workers, no alcohol policy). It was rather busy, and so it would be wise to geet a reservation before set...
Super dinner. Lovely open white wine. Supreme de volaille with squid ink pasta. Great service person. Smiling. Prompt. Quiet ambiance although next to the airport access road. Normally we cannot expect so good quality for an airport hotel.
We stayed at the hotel next door and found this restaurant by accident. We had a three course lunch, with a nice glass of wine. The food was fresh and tasty, service quick and the price was not more than 25 EUR P.P, not bad at all.
