Stopped here for late lunch because the shops had shut. Sat outside with view over main road and hills. A number of people having lunch. Umbrella not working but we improvised until it was blown over by the wind. Order Plat Du Jour but lost...a bit in translation and only one arrived and a slight awkward discussion about another plate. We did not realise it was only one serving until we paid the bill so in fact the salad, chips and plate of meats and cheese was plenty for two. Swilled this down with beer. Quite happy. Staff quite attentive otherwise.
Ordered the sandwich of the day which was foccacio with raclette cheese and cured ham. They didn 't have foccacio but the owner said she could do a croque monsieur with cheese and ham. My girlfriend had the vegetarian option, in which the ham was replaced...by a slice of tomato. It was just that: 2 slices of white toast bread with a slice of ham and cheese. There was NOTHING else on the plate. For this they charge: EUR 8 !! That 's more than double of what you pay on top of a mountain in winter high season. Awful..
randomly we went by the afternoon and decided to stop eating. a nice friendly welcome and we were soon served with two beers and the menu board has attracted us to the selection. the eating was good and plentiful as the wee (we took the recommendation, what a table of local drink a dish cheese with salad rounded off the meal beautiful.

Simply put, a nice, welcoming little restaurant with good food. We stayed on a hot day at noon and were soon relaxed with chilled beers and the chalkboard menu. Efficient and friendly service, despite busy. Our salads were plentiful and tasty. It's also... close to the bus stop back to Morzine, which was a bonus!
A last minute drive by and pop in 30mins before official opening and they couldn't have been more welcoming. Lovely fresh food and home made desserts at a great price point, well worth a visit!
all praiseworthy opinions are true; warm welcome, tasty and varied home cuisine, home dessert, reasonable rates for the region. Everyone left with a smile bravo to the boss and his mom!

We ate here last night. The food was beautiful especially the croute. Very welcoming and friendly, especially the charming 3yr old assistant waiter. Highly recommend
