For shochu's sake... This place had the highest quality shochu (Japanese spirit made with sweet potato).The delicate taste of Moriizou Honkaku was insanely good! We were lucky to be there that night because the bottles are not easy to obtain. My friend and I were there to enjoy a quality catch up and we certainly did that! Loved the salt bush tempura, perfect Aussie Japanese fusion. Despite being extremely busy food and drinks came out very quickly. Super friendly service, and Japanese staff serving so I had a chance to brush up on my rusty Japanese! Food was divine. Scallops were fresh and 美味しい. Would definitely go back. Absolut leckeres Essen und großartiger Kundendienst. Ich hatte das Veggie-Mittagessen-Combo und es sollte sterben! Nicht nur das, sondern alles sehr erschwinglich und kam mit einem Getränk meiner Wahl, der kostenlos war. Das Essen wurde nicht lange dient, nachdem ich es bestellt habe. Sehr beeindruckt. Absolutely delicious food and great customer service. I had the veggie lunch combo and it was to die for! Not only that but it was all very affordable and came with a drink of my choice that was free of charge. The food was served not long after I ordered it. Very impressed. I will definitely be coming back and telling all my friends and family about the delicious and affordable food at Mon Taste of Japan!
A little quaint restaurant tucked in between bustling pubs in Leederville. Highly satisfied with the service. Staff are friendly and approachable with a smile. We ordered the sukiyaki for 1 person. It was excellent. Take note, You do need to add extra to get noodles in your sukiyaki. Had chicken karaage which was very light and crispy. We also ordered the Ten Don which had tempura prawns and vegetables. Everything that was deep fried came out crispy as! Very impressed...
Eine überraschend fantastische Funde. Kleines kleines japanisches Glück. Spaß aufmerksames Personal, sauberes knackiges Dekor. Das Essen selbst war fantastisch. Japaner kann sehr getroffen und vermisst sein, aber dieser Ort war an Punkt. Am wichtigsten mit Meeresfrüchten ist Frische und das war genau das !!! Oh und die Lotus-Chips ????

A surprisingly awesome find. Small little Japanese happiness. Fun attentive staff, clean crisp decor. The food itself was fantastic. Japanese can be very hit and miss however this place was on point. Most important with seafood is freshness and this was just that!!! Oh and the lotus chips ????

Ich kam zum Mittagessen herein und bestellte den Salmon Mon Set. Es kommt mit Reis, Lachs, Seite von Vege und Miso-Suppe. Ich denke, es ist okay für ein schnelles Mittagessen mit 12,50 $. Die Miso-Suppe war an diesem Tag ein bisschen salzig, also hat es nicht versucht.
