I have been coming to this restaurant for years for various occasions, and it’s always a great place to celebrate. The seating arrangements are abundant, with plenty of cozy spots to ensure everyone in our party has a place. Before the pandemic, we often hosted brunch parties here. For our most recent gathering, we had a private room on the top floor, which comfortably accommodated eight people, and it was simply wonderful. In some venues, being away from the main area can lead to feeling neglected, but that was not the case here. Great ambiance, terrible food and a 30 minute wait time for service. We used to dine here pre-Covid and loved everything about the restaurant. Unfortunately the quality isn’t the same. Our Calamari had to be returned twice and was inedible, steaks were served raw when we ordered medium. It’s unfortunate as the ambiance is still very welcoming. We miss the old Mon Village!
Ate here many times in the last 50 years.. but this time was NOT there best effort..PRIME ribs meals arrived cold even au jus .and my baked potato was swimming in it, so it was ruined too, We sent both plates back but same plates returned with chef who said nothing they could do but offer a hot cup of au jus. NOT HAPPY with $200. supper
Food is always very good and not over priced for the quality you get. Service also very good, and the only thing I could say that might be negative is the smoke smell from the wood fireplace if someone is sensitive to smoke such someone with Asthma or COPD. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is both quick and refined. Housed in a beautifully renovated building from the 1800s, the atmosphere enhances the overall dining experience. The Toblerone cheesecake is truly worth the trip—it was nothing short of epic!
This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food was outstanding, the prices were very reasonable, and the rustic charm of the place felt genuine. My family and I absolutely loved it! They also had a fantastic kids' menu.
Beautiful restaurant converted from an old home. Rustic vibe and excellent food. Choice of eating in the dining room or the pub. Great part is there is only one menu. you can enjoy anything offered no matter where you dine.
