We visited this restaurant for desserts and it was absolutely amazing! The dessert menu boasts an impressive variety, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Each person in our group ordered a different dish: cheese with pear, lemon balm crostata, pistachio gelato, and almond butter cake with apple. We all felt we had chosen the best dessert, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. The aromas were wonderfully diverse, featuring unexpected combinations. After attending a performance at Orchestra Hall, my girlfriend and I saw Monello on our way back to the car and thought we'd give it a try. Boy, am I glad we did! Every member of the staff was very friendly and attentive. The interior aesthetic was classy, yet modern. So far, so good. But how about the food? Well, I ordered the Torchio with Braised Rabbit per our server's glowing recommendation. I must say, she was right on! It is the best pasta dish I have ever had. We will definitely be coming back! In the basement, there is also a swanky bar named Constantine. Next time, we will make a night of it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Monello to celebrate my husband’s retirement. Britney was very attentive and the food was everything we’d hoped it would be. Lovely presentation and divinely inspired flavors that were unique and delicious. Tablecloths would enhance the ambiance, but we loved the absence of obnoxious music and enjoyed the clinking of glasses and the subtleties of people having conversations. 100% recommend for any occasion.

Great Italian restaurant with a perfectly small menu which I prefer! Do a few things well instead of many things mediocre! We came here for the first time before a concert at the Minneapolis orchestra hall and again stopped by for a night cap. Great service and very good food. Update: We went there for dinner with friends, still great food and service.

I want to start off by saying I had spectacular service from my server Joshua. He Was informative about the menu, great personality and checked on us consistently. I had the messinissi pasta and it was full of flavor! Also my expression martini was amazing! This will be one of my go-to restaurants in Minneapolis!

First time at this place and was so satisfied. Everything was so good. The Casarecce with Roasted Mushrooms, Squash and Sage Cream Sauce was amazing. The lemon meringue was also great.
