It was my anniversary meal so I felt really bad. Ordered steak-medium. They served rare steak, I even enjoy raw beef sushi(If you enjoy rare steak or raw beef sushi, it should be good quality fresh meat! but this rare steak was sticky and smells like unfresh beef! had bad marinade, even the seasoning was bad! Monet’s has a cozy neighborhood feel. The sound of a jazz musician playing standards on clarinet added to the appeal. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were offered multiple small tastes of the owners’ favorite wines from lesser known boutique wineries. And the opportunity to pair with our lobster appetizer and the chicken cordon bleu. The homemade bread was crisp and tender. The risotto was sublime. The wine regions conversation with Jennifer was elucidating. We only need a personal helicopter to return often from our home in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Merci! Merci!
We dined outdoors on a hot summer day, and the experience was quite disappointing. The most significant issue was the overwhelming number of flies around, which kept landing on our food. It was clear that the restaurant was aware of this problem, yet they still allowed outdoor dining without taking any measures to address it. Additionally, our salmon dish came with broccoli that tasted frozen—definitely not fresh. It lacked any texture and was quite unappetizing. It's disappointing to see a restaurant serving frozen vegetables with a meal that costs $30 or $40.
The atmosphere here is incredible, featuring a live jazz clarinet player and charming twinkle lights. The food is absolutely delicious, and if you're a wine lover, you'll be pleased with the extensive selection of wines and drinks available. I particularly enjoyed the fig burger, and we had a great time listening to birthday celebrations being celebrated with live jazz.

Boring and not tasty food for such a wonderful ambiance. Everything was heavy. The linguini was drowing in tasteless butternut squash sauce. Salmon was overbaked. Burger perhaps the classic would’ve been better. Definitely avoid brie and peach add ons. And to make matters worse they charge more than the best restaurants in LA.
Absolute gem of a restaurant. Killer food, kind owners, and a great ambiance. My partner and I stopped here during a road trip just hoping for a convenient dinner but it was so good we ended up driving back from three rivers the next day to come back. Couldn’t recommend this place more.
Great little wine bar. Nice wine and food choices. Wished we were more hungry when we went. The lavender brie appetizer is delightful as was the crème brûlée. We would definitely be regulars if we lived near this little gem.
Monet's is amazing. The service is always great. We like to dress up and it makes the little place seem way more fancy. The live music is nice, not too loud and always just the right vibe.
